I started back when the shoe box compressor came out. To top off a 80 cf from 3000 to 4500 took 10 hours. It’s definitely changed a lot since then but I feel it’s still got a lot of room to grow. Mainly in longevity. I have the cs4 and it’s gotten around 120 hours on it and it’s definitely slowing down. Big bore takes tons of air.
That's what I'm talking about. I mean a hand pump for a little. Benjamin Marauder I mean to go from 1500 PSI to 3,000 is not many strokes and you get a lot of shots
I have a small blue Vevor and I fill some heavy hitting PCP rifles , like the Umarex Hammer , Air Force Texan LSS.510 , and two AEA's , the .510 Element Max and the Challenger Bullpup.357 . It's never once failed me . 😊
CS4 is best choice if you have enough budget, won't regret in future when others who bought cheap and rubish compressors met using or quality trouble. Choose the GX brand,
You missed off the best pump, the GX CS2 Super reliable Super modable Easy and inexpensive to service Small lightweight Years of use and abuse and still pumping like a champ
I thought about doing that, but different ones would be my top pick for different situations. (Filling tanks vs just a gun, etc) But if I was rating overall CS4-I would be my top pick, it does it all Toauto A3 would be next - it's a great bang for your buck. After that would probably be the GX CS3-I. (Not featured in this video, but I've reviewed it before and used one almost daily for a long time)
If you get a tank you'll still need to go somewhere to fill it up. A small compressor will fill your gun, a larger compressor (like the CS4-I or EK5) will fill a tank too!
I’m wondering if any of the smaller units will fill a 98 cu ft carbon fiber tank. Not ready to plop down a couple thousand for the bigger units yet, but the smaller ones like you have there only seem to be capable of filling the small air gun bottles. Any recommendations?
They could, but it would be a very lengthy process. They typically can't run more than about 25 minutes, and need about that same amount of time to cool down. I would hold off till you can buy a liquid cooled one like the CS4-I, or the EK series, otherwise you'll just burn out the small ones or spend 8+ hours filling a big tank. Especially for a really big tank I'd highly recommend the CS4-I at a minimum, and consider the E-5k2. I have a video on both of those.
I would choose the CS1-I for the auto stop. I actually just published a video on it yesterday, check it out! Please use my affiliate link, it helps support my channel 😊 amzn.to/3Ut0Zec
I am am on compressor number 3 now this year, they are all junk and dont last. one of these compact units, vevors yong heng style and yung heng, all junk. The compressor question is the elephant in the room when it comes to PCP. Does anyone have a real good suggestion for a reliable unit with parts availablity ?. Lookig to keep two scba bottles full.
Which compressor are you using? Scuba tanks would require a more powerful pump like the CS4. If you are using a compact unit like a Vevor or Yong heng it will overheat and die fast on a big tank
@@Themightymooseoutdoor87 I listed the compressors I was using. I was taking all precautions that you can imagine taking great time lapses in between five minutes at a time five minutes at a time and then on the compact compressors that one's already taken twice as long just to fill the rifle which I've never tried on a bottle.. I've becoming quite the expert on the subject and finding out that most of these commercially available two $300 compressors are absolute junk,
I've looked at cs3, I try to stick with 3% or lower of negative reviews on anything I buy. The cs3 I really can't find anything under 10% negative reviews and that scares me.
@pete7894 I would highly recommend the CS4 or CS4 I then. amzn.to/3BQlA5x It's a unit built for continuous runtime of 4+ hours, with liquid cooling, or if you really are serious I would consider the E-5k2, rated for 10 hours of industrial use. amzn.to/406HknM I personally don't own one, but I've heard good things.
I love my GX CS4I, And I think it would do great for that. If you wanted to save some money you could go for something like the CS3, or the TOAUTO A3. That tank is right on the edge of what I would trust those two with though.

I'd consider regreasing it, I think you'd see a big difference!

Which vevor model did you get .
@@paul2532 It's a two piece , 220 v-110v-12 v . 4500psi . There's actually no serial number on it . But , it's never failed me yet .

CS2 is a great one! I have a previous review on it.
Would like to have seen you rate them all. This is my #1 pick, #2, #3 etc.

I’m just getting into pcp do I need a tank or can I hook the compressor up to the gun

ace care is the best for filling your carry tanks and your air guns
How so?

I'm looking at a $4000 compressor now. Which I think is totally insane.

@@Themightymooseoutdoor87 i will! right now i have an yong heng that i bought 3 month a go, so when that one fails, i will go for an CS4
How many liters will it fill in a minute cuz I can do 50 strokes on my hand pump in about 5 minutes
Depends on which one you are asking about 🙂
I will stick with my Hills EC3000 compressor made less than 6 miles away from my home.
That's awesome it's made so close to you - haven't had a chance to review one, but would love to try one out!
You might consider making an X account for your channel . They are very friendly to our hobbies. TH-cam has been crushing us ever more.

That bucket of water was a hassle .it kept me out of the game for a long time.
