I still play Destiny, and this theme song popped up in my head randomly 6 years later, so I decided to look it up and found this video, thank you for taking your Tim to upload it to TH-cam.
Sekrion: "Unlike most Vex, I can't teleport and I'm fairly slow. To make up for that, I'll just have a shitload of health, an impenetrable rotating shield to annoy the living hell out of you and fire a continuous barrage of void damage at anyone who looks at me funny. Sound fair?"
Thenextworldwar Sekrion Actually can teleport on occasions , But those occasions are just to get back to the center of the room. As he wanders about he'll get off the center stone and teleport back onto it .
@@SaikoRhythm The boss is great in my opinion. Instead of going immune for no reason, you can damage it from beginning to end. Despite this, the fight is still paced well because of the boss' firepower, plus the rotating shield. So instead of artificially extending the fight with immune overshields so you can't tear through it, the fight actually rewards you with a fast fight if you're skilled enough to time your hits with the shield rotation, the boss' attacks, and the enemies. Honestly, all strike bosses should learn from the Nexus battle.
True story on nightfall: Me: wow this thing has really fucked up splash damage now. Friend 1: Oh you died? How did you die? Me: Splash damage. This boss is actually terrifying now. Can you come get me? Friend 1: I'll try. Me: Please hurry! Friend 2: This boss is easy. Git gud! *friend revives me* Me and friend 1: RUN AWAY!! The game: GUARDIAN DOWN Friend 2: FUCK
I feel this would be in a 90s movie with Arnold Schwarzenegger for some reason. "You will be... terminated.""SKREEEEE (Good luck, scrap metal.)" TERMINATOR GENISYS 2 CONFIRMED
Grateful for the upload, but it sadly doesn't have the really intense part at the end when Sekrion gets to about 10% health and summons his final round of flunkies. Which is the best part :/
The most difficult final boss I've encountered. It's not that he himself is difficult, it's the obstacles to even kill him that make it difficult. Praetorians do not play around.
If possible, could you do Qodron? I know for a fact that the song that plays is a modified version of the song Chronologies, just like this is a modified version of The Vex.
I really like this track, until it gets to the part where it's all horn. (After the kind of scratchy, atmospheric part that comes after the signature Guardian theme*) *The 3 horn blows.
Honestly, the three-note horn sequence makes me think of the original concept art for the Black Garden, where it seemed to be curved inwards, suggesting that it was inside a sphere... COUGH the traveler COUGH
+Volorus To'Rak (thetricker01) Not proven. If we destroyed the Black Garden and the Traveler disappeared - then you'd be right. But it didn't. We didn't destroy the Traveler. Honestly, I want a story driven FPS RPG with Destiny 2. The story and the setting is just too rich to just throw away. Too bad Bungie is stuck between a rock and a hard place right now with management.
Every time I get a lucky hit on Sekrion, he turns to me like, *EXCUSE ME BITCH?*
So funny! :)
The days of hiding behind a rock and reviving your friends over and over to cheese the nightfall.
This song makes the boss fight so fucking cool.
Totally! Thank you for uploading. :)

Even if Destiny wasnt a top notch game, the soundtrack was flawless, perfectly well fitted for every moment
Slayze because Marty O'Donnell is a God when it comes to making video game music.
No it was a top notch game because the memories are good when you look back, it was great with its flaws
0:42 That percussion is so distinct, one of the most memorable tracks for me
This is music to fight to. Fighting the Sekrion one second only to hear this music ramp up as the action amps up is freaking great experience.
Especially when you fight this guy for he first time. The guitar randomly kicks in and everyone in your fire team gets scared.
Dang right brother
When Destiny was difficult, and had the music to match. Absolutely one of the most memorable moments of gaming ever for me. This Strike.
Sekrion: "Unlike most Vex, I can't teleport and I'm fairly slow. To make up for that, I'll just have a shitload of health, an impenetrable rotating shield to annoy the living hell out of you and fire a continuous barrage of void damage at anyone who looks at me funny. Sound fair?"

lol
+Thenextworldwar FYI, that rotating shield is on all Hydras, not just Sekrion.
Undying mind - I got 3 Shields beat that sekrion.
Year one destiny, this was the nightfall where I got my first exotic drop. Ice Breaker :,)
This by far, was one of my favorite strikes in the entire game.
Listening to this after so many years. It even had a Metroid Prime kind of a feel to it
This was the Strike where I met two random’s, one of which would be one of my clan mates for years on end. I miss those days, and I miss that clan
Best strike of all time.
Nah, it sucks.
This music makes it better, though.
No the Minotaurs are most likely to kill you than the boss itself
Yaas

@@thehale_ I hope they bring it back to D2
I miss this track in particular from Destiny 1. Those were better days...
They don't make 'em like they used too...
That’s because Marty’s gone
My favourite boss and the music just makes it even better
one of the best tracks in destiny and my favorite.
This was the best strike in the whole game
Most epic OST in the whole game.
The OST is the entire composed soundtrack, not just one track. ;)
The first time I did this strike is when the game went from good to addiction. 4 years later, the fandom in me is still as strong as ever
The machines are not invincible
- the Shattered vault cloak
This theme played during the Vex army invasion while “Little Light” was scanning the energy conflux.
This music makes the battle so much better
This strike didn’t get enough love and should be brought back to D2
Icebreaker > cheez spot > never heard the whole thing...
The very first strike I played. Boss music was so awesome.
HES BACK!!! YES!
Man I hate seeing my old comments

2019 anyone?
Sekrion and 2 goblins disliked
They tried, but they've been one-shotted. It was the flying debris that hit the Dislike button. Sorry for that ;/

2:30 the great unknown once again
Ice Breaker and a cheese corner let me survive this nightfall solo.
This reminds me alot of Mass Effect lol .. Titan level 29
I feel this would be in a 90s movie with Arnold Schwarzenegger for some reason.

Making the song at .5 speed sounds cool...to me at least.
I see destiny made a song about me old sekrion

実際かっこいい
this needs to be in fc3 blood dragon
I wonder what the game would sound like if they hired John Williams to compose. 🤔
(comment with spoilers)
sekrion was to be the final boss...no those three sissies

Emmanuel Chacaron I think you are talking about the Templar.
I forgot there was a boss called Sekrion, BUT...I am referring to Aetheon. Either way, both are really difficult
Really!? He's weak as hell.
Could you put a link to explain that please
Great music, hard to hear over action though. Makes it harder to appreciate :(
Im a god
I don't so that is the full version , where I can get long ( original ) - soundtrack ?
If possible, could you do Qodron? I know for a fact that the song that plays is a modified version of the song Chronologies, just like this is a modified version of The Vex.
So familiar :/
wait inst this the ''official'' soundtrack for the vex themselves?
No. There are a few different tracks based on traditional Vex. This one is specifically for Sekrion
I really like this track, until it gets to the part where it's all horn. (After the kind of scratchy, atmospheric part that comes after the signature Guardian theme*)

Fair enough.
ThisGuyHasName Wait. The black garden should have been INSIDE the Traveler?
+XFreeStyleZX Well, the Traveler is evil so...

+RainWalker24c Yes, and I've been wondering the exact same thing as you the whole time. Can't find it.

No. Just a normal strike boss.
No it's also in the atheon and Templar fights.
try it on nightfall -w-
i did and beat it many times xD
Gosh, 8 years ago 😫 I wanna go back to this time.
