@@naverilllang that part of yours, from Zavala during [the Inverted Spire] Strike mission, at the cliffs heading down before at the far range of giant Red legion drills. I think?
Yes!!! I keep hoping that if I run out the timer, at some point that section with the theme from The Ecstasy will kick in - it would be thrilling to hear that with a more extensive dialogue between Ghost, Zavala and the rest of the NPCs there, punctuated by "We're Done Here!!". What a huge miss.
I love those missions that you can remember just from the music. For D2, it's Light's End and the Journey. For D1, I can remember the final mission of vanilla D1, Regicide, Iron Tomb, and the first HoW mission
As poetic as it may have been to return to the place where we first met Ghaul and battle him in the shadow of the Traveler, I think a final fight aboard the Almighty would've been just as cool.
probably my favorite mission in d2, so beautiful to watch as you fly through the tubes, and full of awe as you fight your way through, despite being burned up by the sun
Jonatan Luque songs like Journey aren’t based on stuff Marty wrote. I know everyone seems to like him, but I really think Michael Salvatori is a better composer
Which honestly disappoints me more than their Story in Destiny 1. To be even more honest, the only way they can make it up for me is if they give me OST to EVERY bit of music that was used in this game. Then I guess I can forgive them entirely. Don’t get me wrong though. I love this game, but they can so much more though.
I love you for this. Hey, If you still do this, could you get the music that plays at the end of the "Supply and Demand" Quest on Earth? That one I've been looking for ages. Edit: I think it's a variant of "What We Fight For" that wasn't released.
What is the name of the track that plays during the missions where you get your other subclasses back, while the light projections talk about stuff? Also, what is the name of that very creepy track that plays when you fight the Fallen in the salt mines in that one early campaign mission in the EDZ where you have to give Hawthorne the signal booster?
Not exactly. Here is where you can hear the full version but not by itself. It plays in the end credits. ;) th-cam.com/video/j-OoT-Zfyto/w-d-xo.htmlm42s
The two greatest parts of this level were sunside and the tubes used to reach Light's End.
Battlestations and Forge Ahead :D
It was so well designed
I thought I was the only one who thought that! So gladd someone agrees!
@@combater5430 and then ESCAPE
@@entropyascending515 Untold Legends
Make Your Own Fate.
I was playing the mission and I yelled out: SHIT! THAT'S UNTOLD LEGENDS! And my family just looked at me.
Worth it
Totally worth it
No one would say that, they would get banned from gaming for 2 weeks. At least I would.
Zan Yewang hillbillies my boi.
Totally worth it i did it
"Wow, thats just......... Wow." - ghost
Demon Zangetsu "wow" is not a helpful battlefield term, Ghost.
More like “dear god, get in the shadows!” Which is ironic.

I think?
@@CaptainPilipinas I don't remember
@@naverilllang perhaps it was.
Fun fact, this song was influenced by the only song from the vanilla Destiny 1 ost not used in game: “Untold Legends”
Zomfof it also has some parts of the SABER theme.
Untold Legends actually plays during the very last part of this mission.
Zomfof I've told people this and no one will believe me
annoyingly without the BEST PART OF THAT SONG
“Interceptors! It’s like they’re begging us to blow this place up.”
I love those missions that you can remember just from the music. For D2, it's Light's End and the Journey. For D1, I can remember the final mission of vanilla D1, Regicide, Iron Tomb, and the first HoW mission
I don't get why everyone like journey, it's just pretty cliché with the violin and all "omg sad 🤯🤯"
Cannot tell you how long I’ve been looking for this!!!
me too XD
cuz its a Destiny 1 track my boi
Dez me too bro...me too
I really wish there was a strike that took place back on the Almighty
Or a nightfall
Mihnea Anghelache .... same thing
Should be a mission for an exotic weapon
Well, now we're shooting Warsats and other Rasputin equipment at it!
Ironclad Guildhand now it’s blown up lol
9:22-9:38 Cleanest transition ever between songs
3:29 Super huge Halo vibes... the choir sounds so much like Halo
Well seeing as how it's the same team who composed the music for Halo, I'd hope so. Minus Martin O'Donnell and Paul McCartney.
Yeah, I know it's the same composer. Just reminds me of the old days, that's all
You can thank Michael Salvatori for that
I dont hear it
It feels very Halo Reach!
This was the greatest moment of the campaign for me... Since they fucked up the possibilities for awesomeness they had in the beginning
yep
"Come on Guardian we're going home!!" 12:15
Yup totally what i men't.
As poetic as it may have been to return to the place where we first met Ghaul and battle him in the shadow of the Traveler, I think a final fight aboard the Almighty would've been just as cool.
You are a true hero to the Destiny community! This is my single favorite song in Destiny 2!
You can't miss out on the Royal Pools theme! :D
Man the feels from this mission were the realist.
Every time I replay this mission I get that tingling feeling in a special place. It just feels so... right for the occasion. The music I mean.
9:30 You've finally finished off the Almighty. Now it's time to run.
12:15 oh my god this makes me cry
probably my favorite mission in d2, so beautiful to watch as you fly through the tubes, and full of awe as you fight your way through, despite being burned up by the sun
Even though The Almighty was about to destroy the Sun, my fireteam and I decided to sit and look at the beautiful view of the Sun.
Wow...A mix of Ad Victoriam from Rise of Iron and Untold Legends. It's a shame that this wasn't released in the soundtrack.
1:49
Nice! The Warmind track from vanilla Destiny is heard around the end of this track. Makes it even more epic!
The best part in the entire campaign hands down
Thank you for uploading this track, you're awesome!
Glad I still got this to come back to, now that everything else has been taken down.
I am a player of this game too this mission is one of the most coolest missions that i felt
YES! I have been looking for this forever! Thanks!
I like how the bassoon sticks out in the beginning
Why can’t the game be as good as the soundtrack? Proves that Michael Salvatori is more than just Marty’s assistant.
Well, most of this OST is based of an unnused OST from destiny 1, which Marty composed
Jonatan Luque songs like Journey aren’t based on stuff Marty wrote. I know everyone seems to like him, but I really think Michael Salvatori is a better composer
Perfect for the last major act of defiance of the guardian as they saved sol system. Then launched the major offensive on the city
WHY WASN'T THIS IN THE OFFICIAL SOUNDTRACK?!?!?!
There are many songs that didn't make the cut in the OST like almost all of the Raid songs, and most strike songs like in the IO Strike
Ultimate Dewott it is in the destiny year 1 soundtrack it just want used in game till now
Cuz Bungo r turdz.
Thanks for making this!
I feel like it just replayed 3 times and then added Untold Legends
Because it did.
The Almighty should be made into a raid, but you're actually trasmating from ship to ship in the Red Legion armada.
About time. thanks for making this!
THE BEST CAMPAIGN MISSION I'VE EVER DONE IN D2
Am I the only one who noticed before it turned into "Untold Legends" the song is based off of "Ad Victorium" from the rise of iron soundtrack?
10:23 Classic Destiny 1 theme
Why did they leave out so many pieces? The good pieces are left behind, raid music, strike music, planet patrol music etc.
Because Activision still owns some of destiny one
Beautiful
THANK YOU
thank you good sir!
Holy fuckinf god this is really good
Oh man this is epic
This has been released, just not in D2. This was an unused piece of music from D1 but it was still in the Soundtrack.
The Untold Legends part of this, yes.
omg when untold legends played i screamed
9:30
Me making my way out of the womb like:
10:41 got me fucken hyped
Theres a remixed version of a destiny 1 song in this but i cant find it. Around 4:52
Justin Reimer it's kinda reminiscent of The Warmind
WyvernFalken nah thats not it. Thanks tho
Justin Reimer I believe that's untold legends
Untold Legends is the last segment of this extension
WyvernFalken Yeah but its a remix of Untold Legends. I hear no aspect of Warmind in this
10:00 venus from d1
cocolapin59000 No. It was never in D1. The theme is called Untold Legends. The theme never made it into D1 but is in D2
This just repeates then plays Untold Legends exactly as it was from D1. Very creative Bungie I can see we got some really smart people working there.
Yeah crazy. It's like it wasn't in the video description or something.
New music for assaulting the Death Star 😁
rip almighty
reminds me of the last array from destiny 1
Warthog run but no warthog, SO JUST RUN!
I love you for this.
Hey, If you still do this, could you get the music that plays at the end of the "Supply and Demand" Quest on Earth? That one I've been looking for ages.
Edit: I think it's a variant of "What We Fight For" that wasn't released.
Love this one, but I feel like that bit at 2:20 should have lasted longer.
I DONT CARE WHERE IT WAS GONNA BE I JUST LOVE THIS SONG SO FUCKING MUTCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great music to go along one of the few bright spots of this otherwise wretched game.
Any idea what the arms dealer strike theme is called? EDIT: its resist the legion
Resist the Legion
Thanks
I hear a bit of Ad Victoriam in here. To victory!
Anyone know the song for the part where you’re hiding in the shadows during this mission? I can’t find it. It feels like a rendition of this song.
Sounds like ad Victoriam from ROI (Rise of Iron)
Andrew Guskey nice to see I'm not the only one who thinks that
Both Ad Victoriam and this song are influenced heavily by the unreleased Untold Legends
Tom Swiggins maybe, but the Rise of Iron starts playing at seeing the 1:49 mark.
I will never forgive Bungie for deleting this incredible mission...I'll start playing again when they give me back the content I paid for
When you in that pipe thoe
What is the name of the track that plays during the missions where you get your other subclasses back, while the light projections talk about stuff? Also, what is the name of that very creepy track that plays when you fight the Fallen in the salt mines in that one early campaign mission in the EDZ where you have to give Hawthorne the signal booster?
Not sure but i think its called " Inner Light "
The main theme?
Honestly the laser looks smaller from the inside :/
Shouldn't it be lights out?
Do you just have a normal non-extended version?
Not exactly. Here is where you can hear the full version but not by itself. It plays in the end credits. ;) th-cam.com/video/j-OoT-Zfyto/w-d-xo.htmlm42s
Can we all go against bungie and have them bring back the red war campaign?!?!
So did you just name the song? You know, because it was unreleased? Or did you find it in the files with that name? xD
CosmicGumballz I named it after the name of the chamber it plays in
Too bad the OST was better than the campaign...
This mission was pretty cool, maybe it was just the build up. (And the stunning OST)
Still better then destiny 1
Boss fight was a let down
The only good part of destiny 2
