very much liked the demonstration of the 2, well done and nicely showcased. although shuttle gives you much more outputs, I mostly use my Tubbutec module for such purposes.
It's surprisingly good. I never got the Tracker to use it like this, but it gives you a lot of options. You could obviously do the same with any other sequencer, but there's something special about the Tracker layout that I like a lot. Got a bunch of jams to upload using the same setup!

The 16 outputs (pitch and gate, I get that) can all be used as tracks from the tracker? And I presume they'd be clocked by the Trackers sequencer? Not sure why you'd need the transport stuff in the first 4 outputs? Sorry, noob questions, I have the Tracker, love it and am building my first modular - the Shuttle seems like it's perfect for the job but what about the Poly 2 from Polyend? Thanks for your helpful video.
Hey, thanks for watching! I haven't used a Poly2, but I suspect the outputs aren't as configurable as they are with the Shuttle Control. I could be wrong though :) The transport outputs are clock, start, run gate, and stop (for reset). Depending on what modules you are using with the Tracker you will need to have these in order to tell the other clocks when to run, when to stop, and when to reset. If you are just using voice outputs, then you won't need them (unless you want to clock modulation). :) Hope that helps!
@@StephenMcLeod Yeah I understand now, did some digging. The 8 top outputs of the Poly 2 are preconfigured for pitch and gate but the other 12 are assignable to whatever you want. And it's possible to do it on the unit with the screen and has presets too. I'd imagine the Shuttle has way more configurability though but probably a little over the top for my own needs, I just want all 8 tracks from Tracker converted to CV. If i can actually find a damned unit available I think that's what I am going with, it's also a lot cheaper (£300) and as it doesn't make any noises I can just about justify it sitting in my 6u rackbrute i'll be starting with till next month where I can afford an actual noisy thing. Again, thanks for your help.
Man the jam at the end of this video was killer!! Everything sounded awesome, love that the Tracker is capable of this!! 😃🐀
I like the use of the wide angle shot to show all your gear.
Thanks! It's really just to fit in my giant heid. Like a melon on a toothpick.
Great demo! Thank you. I just ordered a Tracker and coincidentally have a Shuttle System :) (Gribs)
A great combination!

veeerrry interesting! love the jam🙌🙌🙌😁🙏
"Aw, feck. Y'know, thit wee soak-et thing."
👍🏼
Thank you cheap hair.
This is wild! So the tracker is then able to tame the modular chaos eh?

*for the algorithm, obvs*

What a terrible review man. Sorry I tried to stick till the end. But you should be better prepare before demoing something to the public. Good luck.
This isn't even a review you half-wit.
