Daniel, I’ve been a Paramedic since 1990, and was in EMS for 5 years before that. You absolutely did the right thing !
You definitely need the bloodwork and other testing for sure. I hope that everything is ok, and that you are back home and resting as comfortably as possible soon.

@@jaynem9635 Oh my goodness! It definitely sounded like you should have done what you did because although you are feeling better at the moment, thankfully, something is definitely going on and you are in the right place in case you do have a heart attack. Anything to do with the heart you will be number one on their list everybody else will have to wait. So you are in the right place and I hope you do get some sleep but I noticed the light is on. I have a very hard time sleeping with the light on myself I hope you don’t. Everything you have explained about the tingling the pain chest pressure all of those signs are the top signs that people should look for and then get to the hospital because they can be a sign of heart attack and they won’t even know if you have had a mild heart attack until they do tests on you in the first place . But remember if anything happens they will put you on top priority at that moment in time! 🤗❤️🍀🙏👀

Oh, Dan. Glad you called 911 and are getting seen at ER. It's never a waste of time or cause for embarrassment, even if they don't find any evident reason for your pain and tingling. It's best to get checked anyway.
Hope that you're not kept waiting for TOO long, (though it could be the case) and that you're back home, soon! Xx🤞🙏🤗

Anxiety can do terrible things to you. A panic attack can mimic the symptoms of a heart attack with absolute precision, even down to that awful feeling of impending doom. It’s happened to me before, I really feel for you.

False he clearly has symptoms of a blocked or partial block artery to the heart. Stop dismissing and minimizing his symptoms that why my neighbor died of a heart attack 3 days later, cuz he was told it was anxiety! Now adays everyone blames everything on anxiety out of laziness and ineptitude

My guess is that they are going to check your troponins levels three times.
I think there’s a three hour wait between lab draws just to make sure that you did not have a heart attack. It was smart to call 911 and if this is related to anxiety hopefully they give will prescribe you some anti-anxiety medication to use as needed. You have to make sure you have a healthy heart before your vacation!!!

Hang in there! The good news is that they didn’t rush you back. That is how I always gauge where I am when I go to the ED. How scary that must’ve been when you called! You did the right thing by calling. Never drive yourself with cardiac symptoms. Could you imagine if you drove and the symptoms got worse and caused you to get in an accident? Also, all of the departments comes when you call because sometimes one can get there before another. The idea is saving lives and not worrying if all all of them should come. I am so glad that you are okish enough to be posting this. Hopefully you can get something for your anxiety. That should help the doom feelings, etc.
Hang in there. You have a lot of people in your corner.

When my anxiety tries to push me around or I can not fall asleep I turn on Ytube and listen to different rain sounds or ocean sounds, there's a large variety of different sound.... close my eyes and make believe I'm somewhere else, in a peaceful place. Hand on tummy feeling my stomach rise up and down. Calming!! The treatments I've been going through have given me some rough insomnia, so this really helps!
