You say thats simple. Lee, thats all we need is simple. The way you explain works for me and I watch all your videos. Thanks for making them. No expensive lights or gear, just stuff I can buy on ebay for cents not mega dollars. Yourself and Stewart really show us how to make great phots with what we already have.
Hi my friend thank you from the bottom of my heart for Reaching out and taking the time to send me a message photography is only as expensive as you want make it. I am doing a masters degree in photography at the moment and all ready I am butting heads with people about camera snobbery lol. I don't think I am going to pass lol 🤣😂🤣😂
Thank you ever so much Sharon I have always been creative. I find it helps with the boredom of every day life lol. When I am at work or at home my mode is always thinking of what to do next
You must be a mind reader. I out in the garage shooting matches this afternoon (relatively unsuccessfully). Then I saw this. I'll try your second method tomorrow. Thankyou!
@@LeeHallphotography I've shared your video on my Scott Longden Photography (Learning Photography) group on Facebook. Hopefully we can get you a few more views. You deserve it! Great content on every video.
Wow great thank you have just finished trying I have gotten some good results but have been unable to capture the smoke just need more practice thanks for sharing your knowledge I have tried some of your water drop stuff with some success so far
Thank you ever so much my kind friend. You will get the smoke I promise I am working on a new smoke video that might be even better I hope lol. Happy snapping 📸👍📸
Definitely going to give this a try. Have been wanting to experiment with the flash as it is still a difficult thing for me. Thank you for this video! Now all I need is a rainy day... ;)
Love your videos, watched you vid on macro shoots and diffusers just wanted to know what size are your plastic tubs as the one's I have seem to be on the small side thanks
Sorry Lee it should have read snoots and macro diffusers and it was a year ago you posted the video, you advised to tape pringle tube to container then cut out hole, cheers
Lol not a problem I really have not measured them they are just standard pringal crisp tubes I will have to measure them for you. But they fit 99% of flashes 📸
Awesome video again. Where can I find tour adres and stuff.? Need to send you the bill for rebuilding my house. 🙈😝. As said on insta, I’m going to do this myself as well.
I used macro tubes for around 2 year before I managed to save up for my firs lens I found them hard to start off but once I got the hang of them I found them fantastic they can be just as sharp as a macro lens but a lot fiddly than a macro lens. A macro lens is made to do the job you want but macro tubes are a replacement and a fantastic budget ideas
Another very cool video!! I do have a question, I'm a hobbyist been shooting a couple of years. I shoot with a Canon t6i which i think is the 750 D. I don't have a flash. can you share which one you use, or throw out some options that would work but aren't gonna break the bank. So much appreciation for all your sharing. Thank you!
Hi my dear friend I use 2 flashes and there that old now there not even on the market lol. You can get some good flashes now for around £70 pound I would look at Godox as they are very well made.
I love smoke photography, going to have to try this one. Have you tried letting the smoke go through a dandelion clock. Inverting the colours in processing gives some lovely effects as well.
Hi mate I have tried it one time but I have come up with a new trick for the smoke so I am just trying it out over the weekend to make sure it works OK 👌
Absolutely love this one! Laughed out loud when you held up the Pringles can. Still have mine from when you introduced it in your video last year. Have to get out the fire extinguisher and have a go at this one. Do you shoot RAW or JPG?
Hahaha you can't beat the pringle tube lol. Its one of those simple things that really does work. I always shoot in raw my friend if any editing needs doing it allows you to do more to your pictures 📷
I have tried it my friend I did a video on it when I first started you tube. The trouble was I never opened the door and I got carried away with it and the next morning I could not talk because my throat was so sore lol.
What a 'flaming' great idea! I'll see if I can 'match' your great photos.
Lol thank you mate you know you can do it. Your a star 🌟

Hi my friend do you mean the extension tubes I use if so they are 36mm 20mm and 12mm

Hi Lee,its Graham again...just wanted to know what you think of using extension tubes for close-ups as regard to macro lenses ?.

Have you tried incense sticks for smoke photography? I saw it online and it was pretty amazing🤓
