I struggle extremely with going to the gym alone. I went with a PT for 2 years and had amazing results, I learned a lot as well. I wrote every single workout down so i could do them if I ever quit. But afterwards i only went to the gym for 4 months. I get too much anxciety with going to the gym alone. I havent been in 1 year now and sometimes i hate myself for it. When i feel it in my back or when I see i dont fit that nicely into my clothes anymore. Damn.
Aww, don't feel bad about Thanksgiving! I've never had a big family either (I guess that's what happens when your parents are immigrants!), but all that matters is that you're with them. Doesn't matter if it's just one other person in your family unit, or a hundred. I hope you had a good one!
