I love this eau de cologne. A good cologne is like a fresh glass of water during an opulent dinner , or a cool shower after a hot day . Longevity is overrated in perfumes sometime . This one is a live in the moment luxery , very uplifting and positive . ❤
It lasts more than many other colognes I own but its still not a long lasting perfume but thats ok. Thats the nature of this perfume. I still love it to bits 💖

Omg, about Paris Riviera… so, I always shower with the Paris Riviera shower gel when I want to treat myself a little. It is like having a spa day. Seriously amazing. Its my favorite of the les eaux shower gels. So soothing and relaxing. I highly recommend it if you already love the perfume 🥰🥰♥️♥️

La Pausa, Bel Respiro, Cuir de Russie and Sycomore are my favorites. My favorite fragrances loaded with citrus are Cristalle, Eau d'Orange Verte and Chanel Eau de Cologne.

I’ve tried many different cologne-style fragrances at various price points, I have to say that Chanel has pulled off this genre better than most houses. If you love this style of fragrance and you want to find the best smelling or highest quality rendition, Chanel’s EdC should be on your hit list. The top sparkles, however; it is in the dry down where EdC succeeds where many other fragrances of this style fail. Whilst many cologne-style fragrances can fall flat or smell cheap as they dry down, the magic of Chanel’s EdC persists as it hugs you with a soft bouquet of florals and delicate musks ☀️ Edit: regarding price, in Australia 75ml is about $170 USD. It’s expensive, there’s no getting around that, but if you’re a financially responsible person and you like this style of fragrance I think this is a great one to try.

When I came back to France for Summer holidays last August (2024) I was SHOCKED to see the price rue Cambon : 345 euros !

Your math is incorrect 😅 cuz you do not use up the entire 200ml bottle in one wear… if you used up the entire 200ml bottle in one wear then each minute would cost you 50 dollars…. But the bottle has hundreds of wears in it, depending how abundantly you spray it of course. In my case there are about 100 wears in a 200ml bottle of eau de cologne, if I spray abundantly… thats 2ml per wear… so in my case it would cost me 5 dollars per wear… 5 dollars for the 10 minutes pleasure. Look at it this way, if I buy a really tasty and high quality patisserie treat, I would pay more than five dollars for it and trust you me, I would eat it in less than ten minutes… so from that perspective, the five dollars per wear of eau de cologne is warranted in my opinion if we do the girl math! 🧮😅 💫💖💚💚💚 But of course, if you buy 200ml eau de cologne in Japan or Europe, then the cost per 2ml sinks drastically because currently the 200ml bottle costs 345 euro in European states and just a bit over 300 Euro in Japan. Alas… and let’s not forget that the 345 euro price already includes taxes while the 500 dollars for 200ml in the US does not include taxes…

Maybe that sounds weird, but there are some days when you just want to put $400 perfume on and have no one notice or care. You don’t know the notes, you don’t pay it any attention, you let it sit in your bathroom, if it goes missing you aren’t fazed. THAT is luxury. The lifestyle itself is luxury, NOT the fragrance
