Out of all the mid-sized Suvs in this segment this is the one that seems to get overlooked, there are too many more compelling vehicles in this extremely competitive segment.
Thanks for the review. I think the Trailblazer RS is way better value. At least it has the all digital cockpit., better on gas, and a better color blue.
Honestly, why does my 24 Trax interior look better? Buttons laid out better as well as full digital dash option. For half the price. I'm sure the materials are more premium, but I see a lot of familiar switchgear. They really need to improve that dash.
Not to be rude but the vehicles are not in the same class. If you like the interior of one, so be it. But as to the pricing, you are getting about half the vehicle. The Trax is a grocery-getter. It is basic transportation with a few frills added. It is small, has no towing or cargo ability, single zone ac/heat, FWD only, no Bose, no ventilated seats and is even more uncomfortable than the Equinox - which I thought was impossible. The Trax cargo capacity is about 1200 pounds with the Blazer at 2000 pounds with double the volume. But to each their own, buy according to your needs, but do not pretend that the vehicles are equals.. While the current Blazer is only a shadow of the K5 it is still a capable vehicle with which my wife can haul a few round bales or load up her girlfriends for a weekend trip to the big city.
I just drove this for about 5 days as a rental. Decent drive. A little stiff on the power steering when you're coming out of the apex of a turn and straightening out, though that was minimized with only rear wheel drive activated. The tech package was good, but I disliked that you couldn't adjust music or volume from the steering wheel. Instead, I had to click the button near the volume knobor the volume knob itself. As I was in an unfamiliar place in an unfamiliar car, instead of unconciously cruising around a familiar neighborhood, this bothered me quite a bit. Otherwise a good ride. But man, Chevy has overpriced this thing. There's nothing "value" about it. $40k+ for even the mid level package? I think you can do better elsewhere.
I hope people realize that at over $51K, one could buy a top of line Hybrid Toyota RAV4 Limited, and save $8K. So a better, more reliable vehicle, better looking, better fuel mileage, with AWD!
CORRECTION: Towing capacity is 4,500 lbs when properly equipped.
Love the blue on the blazer and the interior 😊
This Blazer looks really nice. Love the interior.
Thank you!! Very helpful. My Next car
Glad it was helpful!

Are you in Canada or USA? Thanks

I won't touch a 3 cylinder 1.3 man. I've had multiple close friends who are mechanics say outright no or wait and see.
I prefer glacier blue to this blue.
@@johng9675 yeah, that motor is pathetic. A toy to be in an suv. hard pass.
wish they would allow an RS without the colored seats. would love an RS with just black seats. i dont want tinted red or tinted blue smh
What exactly is different between RS and SS ?
There is no SS

This car should be around $36,000 and I would want to pay about 34 for it way too overpriced.
Does anyone know if they'll be discontinuing the V6 in the Blazer like they did in the Traverse?
Most likely they will, but who knows when that’ll happen
Just bought a V6 Blazer; by far most '24s are turbos. 2024 is the end of the V6 for Chevrolet.
@@JCT442The Blazer with the 3.6 V6 soldiers on for the 2025 MY.

You also have half the cylinders in the engine as well!
@@drift3rkid66 True, but my racing days are long ago. This Blazer is so cool. But the Trax is fun too. LOL
Because the 24 Trax is an all new vehicle. The 24 Blazer has been facelifted and just updated from the 2019 model.

Price is just right in todays market.

Looks like a 5 yr old designed the interior...
What a boring SUV. Take a hint from the Bronco.
Same old shitty chevy engine. My wifes cruze is a god damn nightmare between oil leaks, coolant leaks, basically failures in engineering.
A Chevy Cruze does not have a 3.6 engine
Not at all the same engine
Cruze was known to be a pos. It’s an entry level car the Cruze.
