IK got a tremendous chance to uplift pakistani populace. He blew it. Main reasons are his playing Islamic card when it was quite unnecessary (he should have concerned himself with economy, education and health) and grandstage anti India rhetoric (trade with India is 50% solution to all it's economic problems). He proved himself a political miniscule.

I still remember the 27th Day of December 2007, it was 4.55 pm Liaqat Bagh wasnt too far from my home then...my house shook with the explosion waves although it was 5 6 kms away!!! Indeed it was a fatal attack which changed the direction of Pakistani politics.

Very balanced narration of history. Any good leader , specially who wants normal relations with India is removed by Pakistan military as they wants to keep fighting for their survival. Unless Pakistan improve relations with India , nothing will improve in that country

Najam Sethi never provides reference of all the assertions he makes. He talks as IF he was personally present in all the meetings, were listening to all telephone calls, etc etc etc. That is extremely low bar for journalism. At best, this is suave half-truths peddling.
