Hassan Nisar,Najam Sethi, Parvez Hoodbhoy and Hussain Haqqani are a rare breed of intellectuals in Baqistaan (55% of Pakistan is free now and the remaining is Baqistaan) who have a habit of speaking the truth boldly.

One of the very few Pakistani citizens that actually sound level headed and sane. Hope that more like him get their place in Pak govt & both nations can move towards peace.

Against many people's ideology - I think stable Pakistan is in India's interest. Pakistan is highly confused at the moment, please focus on these issues and try to rectify the root causes. 1. History (distorted) - Turks and Arabs Ancestral achievements were not yours please accept it. Basically South Asians had their own achievements and glorious past regardless of religion. 2. Religion - Try to reduce radicalization of Islam and accept the existence of others too. 3. Constitution - be democratic, your Army is your biggest enemy its their business to keep the country on war no matter what happens next. 4. Education - starting from American/British schools you have madarsa education and many more,no doubt the outcome will be tremendously different from each other (kids never gonna gel up together). 5. Judiciary - Panchayat > Sharia > Army courts > High Courts > Special Courts Result - No Justice to the common man. This is my level of understanding so far, I can be wrong but don't figure out any reason to fight over 3-4 issues for more than 60 years and million lives affected. #peace please.

You mean Arnab Goswami on Times Now.
Difference is this is an interview of Najam Sethi in the form of question and answer whereas Arnab Goswami conducts a debate with panelists having different views.

Najm Sethi has always been very rational and voices his opinion freely very courageously. Asma Jehangir is another person. Hasssan Nissar is a theird very rational person.

Unfortunately he doesn't represent his country!
He has a bold/wide vision and i think that Pakistanis don't!
He is often criticised in Pakistan for being Pro India/America!

Typical Vardarajan style - Pakistan is also a victim of terror, what an irony.

After Peshawar attack ,Pakistan Army may change it's policy of supporting Haqqani Network but they have not changed their policy on Lasker E Toayba and Jaish E Mohmad who are active in Kashmir.

Must remember he was detained by ISI on his return from India after he gave a lecture in some conference becoz he criticized the policy of ISI n Pak Army.
Listen carefully he is citing the positive role of Pak Army in the internal decisions of the country in this interview recorded in India. After attack on Hamid Mir journalists can't dare speak against Pakistan Army n ISI.
