- In this video we review another awesome kit that kinda flew under the radar. At least for me it did. I didn't know this kit existed until I was browsing the Gundam Hangar website here in Toronto and just happened upon it. I was a little skeptical at first, but looked at the images and my mind began to get blown. Haha... Go buy this kit! If you can that is.

I think part of the reason this kit fell under the radar is because both the official release pictures and the box art show a somewhat subpar faceplate. As you showed, her actual faceplates look amazing and she's awesome for the price (same as a 30MS), plus nice color separation all around. Excellent review Mr. Spriken!
I agree 💯 the box art doesn’t do the face justice. It could have been a lot better to help sell this kit. 🐤 thank youuuu!

@@MrSprikengot one and assembled it last night, and yes, the promotional images really didn't do it justice! She looks really good and proportional. My only issues with it are the wobbly head (like what you mentioned in your review) and her ankle joint which is a bit confusing to pose. Overall quality is top notch considering its super affordable price compared to Koto kits 😆😆😆

Kotobukiya did a wonder woman model kit and it's pretty nice.
Yeah I actually used the main body of that kit in my last diorama project. And I just got the newer original colour scheme one in my last unboxing video 🐤 you’re right, she’s a great kit.

You should probably try finding their Iron Man series model kits.
Yeah i would love to have one. I’ve seen some but they’re a bit large in scale 🐤 gotta find a 1/12 or even 1/10 scale
the underwhelming decals for the Kotobukiya kits is because they want to promote Third party and separately sold decals like the ones made by Hobby Japan and Garage kit makers
same reason why we haven't gotten more blank faceplates from them too outside of the Preorder Webshop bonuses
but at least latelt they've opened up to it and the new Buster doll Megami Devices include a few blank faceplates
theyre also now selling them in the MSG line too
That’s a good observation. They are moving in the right direction, but I have purchased many eye decals from kotobukiya and they’re still pretty underwhelming in variety. Essentially they’re the same eyes of a particular character over and over with different colors. Not much out there with loads of contrasting expression (unless you get custom 3rd party ones). So I hope they continue to improve in that department 🐤

after all, there's already a market in the third party scene for modded Eyeballs set for them.
i got the kit last fall from a HK store, her headjoint is truely unique, i haven't be able to swap them either. when i bought her i thought she was yet another bootleg version musume kit from China. never stopped thinking it was a Disney original...
Yeah! So strange eh? I thought the same at first. But then I thought it could be part of the design to thwart easy customization 😂🐤

I have only built one gundam kit so may i ask the difficulty in building these eastern model kits ? Is it difficult or more tedious ? Im wanting to buy some atk girl models so i want to know what im getting into before purchasing . Do i need any special tools ?
Great question! If you can build gundam you can build these kits. You can use the same tools too. Just be prepared for smaller pieces and longer build time. I compare them to MG gundam kits but smaller. I hope that helps, and I wish you the best in your builds. If you need any help feel free to ask 🐤

Is it durable model plastic or gunpla plastic that'll snap if you're not careful?
I’m not sure if you’re familiar with other musume model kits but it is of the same quality. I’ve had no issues with anything feeling weak or frail when posing. Hope that helps 🐤
how long do these types of figures take to build? Like ones with a bit more mecha parts to them
Good question. It really depends on the kind of builder you are. If you don't care too much about cleaning up nub marks and like to work at a good pace I would say about 2 hours for an average size/detailed kit. But really it can often take longer than that. Not like the nice easy Gundam HG kits that you can pump out in under an hour. 🐣
@@MrSpriken oh okay thank you! Im trying to pick a gundam / figure to build (ive never built one) to build while watching all the harry potter movies so Im trying to pick one that isnt tootoo fast. I honestly thought that these figures would take shorter than gundams because of how small they are and they look like they have less pieces? i could be wrong though
@@mochikinzy4912 these kinds of kits take longer because of how small a lot of the parts are and because they have to articulate in ways gundam do not. I would compare some of them perhaps more to MG gunpla kits. Basic girl kits can still be pretty easy though. Do you want any suggestions or ideas? I love the Harry Potter movies too! 🐤
