      Try an old tank/battleship/fighterplane kit, you will appreciate Kotobukiya kits more and BANDAI kits so much more.

      @@imsilverahuman4108 ok, if youre that kind of person then there probably isn’t a kit out there that could scare you. But we’re talking about casual EZ-PZ enjoyability and i’m just saying that taking a tour through plastic clean-up hell isn’t quite necessary to see the fun in some of the objectively higher-quality kits.

      If you have the old one, you can actually buy one of the renewal Architect kits, and replace the old inner frame with the new one(that you can build yourself to make changes you like).
      I did this with my Baselard, and the articulation actually feels a lot better.

    I honestly prefer the FA Girl version of Hresvelgr. If I could recommend a Kotobukiya kit to get, it'd be be one of the latest ones. Arca Nadea is the series name. I don't remember the name of the angel, but I love her.

Now I'm having some regret buying it because you've shown it's a complete hand grenade. I'm still in love with it's design though since its incredibly different from normal gunpla.

    I get where mecha is coming from since he's more into the casual build aspect of bandai kits but just because every other kit isn't like a bandai kit doesn't make it a bad kit per say, at the end of the day models are meant to just sit on display, if you start off on car/military style models, You really appreciate the effort that goes into making snapfit kits and just how easy it is for beginners to get into modeling. That being said decide for yourself what you want to do with the Hobby, if you just wanna snap build kits and collect that's cool or if you want to paint up and detail everything that's cool too.

    This is not the regular Frame Arms Hresvelgre but the Frame Arms Hresvelgre Ater. The regular one has purple armor and its 2 weapons are a mix or a sword and a gun instead of a pair of scythes

    Frame Arms is a series of KITS that always interested me on building one, but I haven’t seen one that tells me “BUILD ME”. But this one does keeps me curious. I like the ZONE OF THE ENDERS vive it gives!

    This kit I have it and I don’t like the arms who the joint is not secure for the ball joint who pop out ,because of the weight of the arms and it’s very back heavy with every thing on

  • @Zanza1463
    @Zanza1463 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    I just finished building this kit and I will agree it has its hand grenade moments, but I found that the joint guards by gunprimer work miracles on this. I put 2 on the shoulder joints and they clicked into place and the other armor parts fell off before the shoulder popped out, I then put them on those parts. After applying the guards, the kit is able to stand with a scythe in each hand and that is without the tail, the runner was missing and hlj is sending me one.

    That one’s a re-release of an old kit, but with the new inner frame.

      @jamie3346 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ChrisTian-sd5yq the Kotobukiya Frame Arms kits originally were packaged with a pre-assembled inner frame action figure, onto which the remainder of the model was built.
      The end result wasn’t great, so Kotobukiya has re-released these kits without that pre-assembled frame, instead they include runners for assembling the frame at build-time. This has resulted in a better, more sturdy model.

    I have three FA kits and they all came with the prebuilt frame and I don't know if they use a different plastic for them or if I just got really unlucky but two were broken out of the box and one snapped during very careful movement. After I replaced the frames with the stand alone architect kit they were all fine, i know that's too small of a sample size to say whether it's a wide spread issue or not but I'd advise people to be very careful with the pre-built frames.

    the frame arms line is an amazing line, especially if you prefer more military looking mechs, but they are not OOB action figures, they are MODEL KITS, if you want them to be the best they can be, you need to have experience as a builder and with paint, and put some effort

    I have a theory.
    I want to try using small rubber bands to hold the shoulders on.
    If that works, then I might try forwarding that on to them.
    It wouldn't take much for them to make a bit of armor that prevents that part from even being able to fully dislodge.
    Newer kits armor up the waist that everyone has a problem with, and it fixes them. So if they can address the shoulders next, they'll have solid kits.

    The Cutlass would've given you a far more enjoyable experience coming back to Frame Arms kits because it's simple, no complex design with parts clashing with each other. Probably one of the easier FA kits to paint. No offense, but it feels like you purposefully shot yourself in the foot reviewing such a complex design after having previous bad experiences with FA kits. If you can find those kits at a decent price try the Cutlass, Otsu Jin-Rai [or any Jin-Rai variant] or Durandal.

      @xxnike629xx In other news, surprised to hear that you called out CoD for plagiarizing Amuro's logo ...

      @xxnike629xx Because it's well documented that you hate all UC stuffs, and you want unpleasant things to happen to them ...

    I bought the re verison back in 2019 and fell in love with design and even did some painting. I agree with the shoulders being lousy and prone to popping out. But i still love it and not only was it my first Frame Arms kit, its my favorite. I often love to role stories with a character flying into nearly any scifi series and it just fit into it. Not mention the capabilities and weapons i have for it.
    Overall i do love the model. Thx for the vid

    I have tried a couple KB kits. They're really over priced for what they are. I like their weapon packs though.

    Bandai have version of Frame Arms. It's called "Frame Arms Girls" mecha girl version

    That level of hand-grenadeness is odd considering how I heard that the Frame-arm GIRLS are pretty much the leading brand in the field of figure-girl kits until Megami Device and Bandai's 30 minute Sisters start giving them a run for their money somewhat recently
    That said, that would probably look super awesome kitbashed with a Frame-Arm Girls kit, maybe you should try that for a future video?

    The Hresvelgr is honestly a super grenade-y kit, even the V1. I think other FA kits are probably a lot sturdier, especially in the legs.
