Im still a bank fisherman at 22 but since I’ve started watching Tactical Bassin ive broken my pd 3 times using tips and techniques picked up from Tim and Matt l. This channel has turned into a daily class I purposefully attend. I hope everyone else is benefiting as i am. I appreciate channels like this for making everyday hobbies that much better through shared knowledge from long term experience.
Thank you Tim for the in depth analysis, you and Matt are always thinking about everyone’s needs,it doesn’t relate to everyone but it does for people like myself ❤
Thank you so much for this video. I need all the electronic/fish finding teaching I can get. I hope you do more how to tutorials and depth in the future on electronics. I’m calling about that new Lakemaster card today. Thank you.
Hey Tim, I have a very similar setup to you in terms of electronics and I would love to see you discuss your battery layout. Thanks and take good care!
Fellow fisherman don't wait too long to get a boat. I starting with a 12-foot with a 5 horsepower boat. Finally got the boat of my dreams, a loaded up z21, only to end up having cancer stop me from being able to use it very much. I'm starting to look at lures that are best used fishing from the bank. Search topwater Tuesday. Good luck with your future fishing.
Sorry to hear that, I'll be praying for you! I've been bank fishing a long time. Just waiting on the right opportunity. Not picky but also not in a rush. Blessed to be able to fish a lot so I don't have any complaints.@@guyb5333
Sorry to hear that, I'll add you to my prayers. I'm in no rush, when/if the opportunity arises I will jump on it. I've been bank fishing my whole life. Haven't spent much time searching but plan on it in the next couple years. I am blessed to be able to fish so much that I just try to enjoy it. @@guyb5333
That’s why everything is so expensive today is because they sponsor bass pro anglers and these fishing people on YT they sponsors them and they get stuff free and we consumers have’s to pay for their stuff we don’t get anything freebies
You guys should do a video on good baits to use in heavy current. Not everyone has a local lake and are stuck to their local river. I’d love to learn from your guises experience. I’m no bass fisherman but almost every thing you guys talk about I can translate over to other species of fish like northern pike, musky, and even lure fishing flathead catfish which I personally have seen been done successfully. Almost every day during season my buddy and I grab our musky rods and throw stupid sized musky Swimbaits because you never know what may be lurking in the river. I am still new to oversized lure fishing and want to pick apart your guises knowledge so that I can learn from it and not have to buy 2 grand worth of lures and spend 20 years just to figure it all out on my own. Love your videos, keep ‘em coming!
That's good stuff. My solex units with a Lakemaster-Plus card do pretty much the same thing. It has one less color. It will display a band of color between two user-defined depth ranges. It will also display aerial Imaging. Really great features that hummingbird has added into their mapping. The Plus card as a feature where you can Define what fish are fishing for and lake and weather parameters and it will color the areas where it predicts you can catch fish. Haven't fished in enough to figure out whether that really works well.
I tried to follow along with my Lowrance app and noticed that, too. I did come up with a workaround, though. Just set the first shade from 0 to whatever the current drop is. Then, make 3 more with the red, yellow, and green shades.
Random question that doesn’t have anything to do with this video in particular but I’ve always wondered how long you guys cut your leaders when using braid to fluorocarbon. I’m new to using leader and would love to know! Thanks guys love the videos
I generally do length of the rod. They it’s not all up in your spool when casting. Super clear water is different maybe but that’s a good starting point
So does the shaded relief feature just accentuate the depth highlights selected? Thanks for the video. What do you do different in the Navigation screen vs the Fishing screen?

Appreciate all the knowledge you guys bring to the table. You guys are sharing just amazing knowledge that takes many years to learn.

As Always Tim, Great Stuff!!
As someone with no boat I love torturing myself with these kind of videos!!! 🤣😂
A kayak will get you out there.

We actually do a ton of "current" related content because we live on the Tennessee River. The latest was the 19-degree video last week.

Good info, thank u
Great Vid buddy . Don't have Lakemaster in South Africa only Navionics but Vid is going to come in handy .
Cheers
Great Review
Lowrance CMAP is very similar but has no water offset feature. That's a very handy setting on the Huminbird units.

You guys should do a boat positioning video.
@tacticalbassin will you guys do a little segment on how to use and interpret the information on the TVA app ?

It varies on technique
Matt goes into that on a video he did seven years ago

That way it’s not all up*
Awesome

Sick!
Do you think having 2 gps pucks is worth it? One in the back right by transducer for side imaging etc. And one up front for dialed boat positioning?
How do you like the ultrex quest? I just ordered one today…
Are you using the One Boat Network ???
Tim does your zero lines card interfere with your Lakemaster VX ?
Hi guys, does the first tip works on lowrance too?
Will it load that fast on all units or just apex solix
First!
Promo-SM 😀
INFORMATION IN THE VIDEO IS NOT RESTRICTED TO BASS BOAT OWNERS ALONE.😥😢 I feel undervalued as an kayak angler. 🙄🙄
Awesome as always! ❤️
