    The dad being up at the time, the access to the daughters room, the “missing” key, late to answer door in the morning, letting in others to mess the crime scene; my suspicions stay on the dad. We may never find his motive but he had access, opportunity, means, surgical skill and understanding of neck anatomy, and the strength to move a body.

      I watched a documentary about this case. It seems inconceivable that a corpse was lying in plain sight, merely covered by a sheet in the Indian heat without the occupants of the house being unaware. The man servant at least must have been involved. The police were taking orders from the victim's father and had to be forced to come back to properly examine overlooked evidence by another family member which also makes the father's involvement suspicious. The police chief's lurid and baseless speculation was despicable and did nothing to help the case. The only hero in this story was the official in charge of protection of women and children who at least tried to protect the girls virtue. Unfortunately this case, like so many others in India involving wealthy people was never properly concluded.

    One thing about the case which makes me sad is that hemraj is equally a victim but people usually give importance and sympathy only to aarushi. Yes it's tragic a young soul was killed. But hemraj was a breadwinner for the family and likely killed as he was a witness to the crime.he is almost always brushed to the side like a piece of evidence. I still think parents did it and got away. Whatever they did in public reeked of psychopathy.

      Class and gender, and in India's case, caste too, will always play into who society wants to champion as victims. The life of a poor man is always deemed _worthless_ in the most literal sense of the word.

    Dr. Saxena @19:57 the pathologist who is accused to have tampered or misplaced the evidence was one of my professors. I don't know whether she intended to misplace the vaginal sample but knowing her personality it absolutely wouldn't surprise me if she actually did misplace it. I once asked her about this case and she said she wasn't even present on the date the sample was received by the lab so she didn't work on the case. She said she doesn't know how she got roped into the case aside from the fact that she knew the Talwar couple for many years 🤷🏾‍♀ But I did hear she moved out of India because of public scrutiny and apparently teaches at some Caribbean med school.

      @@realtalk6195 I did the opposite of accusing her actually because misplacing things is a common trait of hers. Anyone who knows her wouldn't be surprised by it. The accusation of her intentionally misplacing the sample was amusing because it's possible that she lost it by mistake. I cannot confirm if she did it on purpose to sabotage the investigation or not obviously, only she knows the truth. So I am really not understanding your hostile tone...but you do you.

  • @BlessinginBloom

    Didn’t they also consider that maybe her dad was sexually assaulting her and he witnessed it ? That theory isn’t even wild cause now-a-days fathers assault their daughters and no one even knows. Everything is just too convenient. How could the key go missing all of a sudden. Then allowing people to compromise the scene. And finally cremating her? The entire thing raises questions. The weirdest of all is how no one heard a sound during the murder. The house wasn’t even that big enough.

    • @Aiffam1
      @Aiffam1 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      Cremation is a hindu tradition, and they cremated her the next day based on thr advice of a family elder, and with approval from the police. The family members he let into his home lived in the same appartement complex, and everyone (including the police) stated that he'd been distraught to the point of hurting himself. He needed family at that point, and it wasn’t his responsibility to protect the integrity of the crime scene. The responsibility fell upon the police, aka the professionals.

    • @BlessinginBloom
      @BlessinginBloom ปีที่แล้ว +7

      @@Aiffam1 still his integrity. If a crime happens in your home and the police aren’t on the scene as yet it’s the persons job to make sure that no one goes in our out. Don’t know how it works in other countries. Plus according to the report when police arrived people were already in the house so any hope of finding substantial evidence was lost

    • @Aiffam1
      @Aiffam1 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@BlessinginBloom There was still hope for evidence to be found. A few people aren’t going to make a difference. But every person to enter the home had to be noted, which the police never did. It took the police days to treat the house like a crime scene. And the police have no excuse. They didn’t find their daughter murdered in her bed, and yet they still neglected their duty. Furthermore, this isn’t a break-in or robbery, they found their only daughter brutally murdered in her room. Mental distress distrups a person's ability for logical thoughts. It's not a crime to be upset about your daughters death. Plus, it isn’t rare for berieved parents to call family for support after a traumatic event. I have heard several instances of it, especially if the support lives nearby.

    • @BlessinginBloom

The fact that the police didn't even suspect the parents even when the wound was said to be 'inflicted with surgical precision' will never fail to amaze me. The way the Noida police handled the first response was even more bizzare. The unusually quick autopsy and cremation of the body. It definitely had to have been the parents and Hemraj ended up being in the wrong place and wrong time. The police failed to do their due diligence and find concrete evidence. Not only the police but everyone involved in the procedure.

    These sort of unsolved cases due to what really - in this case - seems to be fueled by official incompetence and it's really distressing. A young girl and a grown man literally lost their lives and no one knows what happened even a LITTLE BIT because of inadvertent evidence tampering and the destruction of the scene of the crime. The fact that they weren't doing so maliciously doesn't change the fact that this family has no closure or answers in regards to their daughters death or the death of an employee they relied on and seem to have trusted. I think they only pointed the finger at him first because he was strangely absent when he usually wouldn't be since he was a reliable person. I really hope literally any evidence comes up so they can reinvestigate.

    A combination of scene contamination and shoddy police work has created the lack of concrete evidence that could have resulted in reasonable suspects to examine. In our day to day lives we misplace things, can’t find things, forget to lock doors, become preoccupied by irrelevant things, have obsessions about cleanliness and countless other potentially “suspicious” actions given an unexpected tragedy. I tend to think that a dismissed servant (like Vishnu?) could have sought revenge on the couple and/or Hemraj. It’s likely that the daughter or Hemraj became collateral damage in one or the other’s mrder. The schedules kept by the parents seemed pretty exhausting to me, so I can believe they may have slept through any potential noise. The truth is often stranger than fiction, you know. I hope justice is reached for the sakes of the victims and other innocent people close to the tragedy, especially the parents and surviving relatives of the victims.

    Its blatantly obvious the father is guilty he must have friends in the police force

    is it just me or the parents don't seem to be in any sort of pain after losing their child? i mean in pictures they seem quite serene and not grieving after their child ...

      The police and family members say he was beyond upset: crying, hitting his head with his hands and hitting his head against the wall in grieve. He could barely speak. The mother was was more able to communicate, but she later recalls that she had been shock and hadn't accepted that Arushi was dead until days later.

    Something is so wrong in this case like it’s so coincidental and circumstantial that all the evidence was tampered with whether intentionally or unintentionally

    They didnt kill her. She had witnessed the killing of the house help. Thats why she was killed by the guy who killed the house help who was found on the terrace. The forensic guy gave an interview on the lallantop channel. He said they pinned the murder on the parents since they needed to pin it on someone, in spite of gorensic evidence, because of public pressure

    it's sad! what kind of police are they who worked on this case?!!! that's disgusting and unprofessional! why we would listen to their speculations? they need to upgrade criminalistic and investigation skills. They lack a lot of education... no wonder why they are unethical people! and thanks you to Megan and the team to cover this segment!

    The daughter and Parents seems to have a good relationship,i dont get why they turned to be the suspect , not even an involvement of any rebellious character of the girl and very confusing how the Police handles it...specially when another person was murdered in a same way as the girl....only child was lost like that she does not deserve it and the Man as well ...
