- All T& T rods @ Red's qualify for a FREE fly line. The updated Avant II is a heck of a rod featuring very fast action, tight loops, and a high-performance design. Western anglers will love this and it will definitely become a consideration among anglers looking for a rod that is both high octane and features the classic good looks and fine finishes that T & T is famous for.

I become a brand loyalist with T&T, it's more of a personality thing.
😂
Just ordered one from you guys. Looking forward to fishing it. Love the Contact II I picked up from you guys a couple years ago.
Awesome! Thank you! We appreciate the order. I'm sure it's already on the way. This team ships so fast.
A friend of mine designed that rod.
Cool story Bro
The line seems a little heavy for the rod. One thing I realized is that they are kinda weird.
Considering A New Hopper Dropper Rig!! What Wt Would You Recommend In That Model. I Was Thinking 4-5 Thanks
I would definitely go #5 in this rod if you are thinking the Hopper/Dropper game. Just the line weight alone will turn over better and make your more accurate. It's such a fine and light rod already.
Why "God forbid you put an indicator on it"
Oh I'm just teasing, it's such a fine casting rod that the indicator robs some of the fine feel. Of course I'll put an indicator on it haha.
New video? Leaves on the trees right now....?
Oh I filmed this when it first was introduced to us, but couldn't share it until they were prepared to officially "release" it for sale. Kept this one under my hat since fall.
This is amazing with reviews, this is the complete opposite of Trident's review of this rod.
i was thinking the same. But I think Trident are way off in many of their reviews.
Ok I didn't watch their review, but maybe the line has something to do with it?
Actually about the same as that review; they're using the SA MPX which Red's also recommends for more novice casters or fishing in closer trout distances, to slow down the fast action. If fishing further out on larger water, then you probably want a longer bellied line like the Rio Gold or SA Infinity.
Trident's reviewer isn't the sharpest tool in the drawer.
