this gets me thinking, Satella purposly placed subaru at the right town, right time, and right place to meet Emilia. Then he had to deal with Elsa Granhiert aka bowel hunter. Did Roswall know subaru was coming and hire her so that she could lose her insignia and chance to become queen? Dont really know whos been hiring Elsa and Meili Portroute for the previous season. could be one of other royal candidates too. That time when subaru, rem and ram were in the forest fighting the puppy. Meili Portroute was there in that town disguised as that little girl. Definitly hired by Roswal
Is Satella actually Emilia from the future? Possibly the great calamity that killed 50% of the world was not done by Satella but maybe someone else? Very similar case happened to Wilhem's wife, she was never killed by the white whale but was murdered by Pandora. But wilhem thinks the white whale did it. sorry for any spoliers, story is so confusing sometimes that the spoliers help so much now.
Edit: One more thing to add, I would 1000% not want to live in the world of re:zero. Even living in the city is terror. The witch factors will never disapeear, you are just a speck of dust in that world.
What if Roswall tried to revive Echidna thanks to Ram, prepared to become a vessel of her soul by the fact that he searched for her, killing her demon friends and family, and put some magic into her former horn ? Idk if this is clear
I have read the novel and I think by now it is impossible to repair Ram's former horn coz if there is a way Roswaal would have tried that for the past years, also spoiler alert

Ram doesnt like her horn to be back since she says its kinda whispers her to bring out destruction and ruin.
@@user-kf7tl3zx7v well that makes sense. In season 1, whenever Rem shows her horn, she goes through a trance.
