as crazy as I might sound, I very much so agree with echidna, Subaru doesnt even understand the weight of the power that has been given to him and how exceedingly overpowered it is. For someone who thirsts for knowledge that is the actual ambrosia, letting yourself reset time howsoever many times you want means you can try out anything and everything with no penalty at all, infinite room for experimentation and infinite room to learn. you can be as reckless as you want with no underlying drawbacks.

My man just really said experiencing death does not have any drawbacks, Subaru is an high school boy, not a military veteran, and even them got PTSD for just seeing 1/1000 of what this boy experience, that's the whole point of the show, death is not a good thing
@earthrise2001 I will concede that while she did say she liked the characters showing their love for Subaru, she still explained away him dying in that scenario with, "He did this *for you*" as if he died trying to save all of these characters when all he wanted was Rem AND didn't even have to take on that specific trauma
also why the fuck are people blaming echidna for beatrice being trapped for 400 years, she just said that it was up to her when to leave she just was indecisive to never choose anyone, how the hell was echidna supposed to know she will choose this path lol.
its not that, its that she has no emphaty and even thinks its wonderful, even though beatrice loves her like a mother and would even uphold a promise like that for 400 years but is rewarded with a mother that doesn't even care and thinks her suffering is wonderful
