The claw is controlled algorithmically. The owner can set it to grip harder depending on how much money is in the machine, semi-randomly, etc. Source: was an arcade technician.
These machines have a hidden menu, where the owner can set how much a player pays for one try, how much a prize costs, and how much profit the machine should make. The claw machine will then use tricks like grab without strength, or drop the prize a little too early so it doesn't fall into the chute, to make sure it earns enough profit before giving a prize away.
to be fair... some took many tries, but this guy is amazing at these games! most of them are rigged to be almost impossible. I adore this channel, how peaceful it is, seeing cultures, good food, and reviews. amazing!
Amazing to me that these cranes ACTUALLY GRAB THINGS! Instead of it just dropping and not closing.. or shaking so much it shakes everything out when it gets to the top lol. I also like that a lot of them actually involve some type of skill.. they’re not just straight crane machines. Places in the US should adopt/try this!
Thankyou for the awesome arcade and skill game content. Such awesome prizes and great wins!! This video made me really respect and appreciate the employees of this arcade for having to stack up those huge towers any time someone wins and knocks them all down! Some of them were great designs and stacked so tall. It would have to require a steady hand to stack the tallest and most intricate designs in the different games. This place is employing and creating master Jenga players without even realizing it. Lol!
5:03 my dad taught me that after you get a carbonated drink in a vending machine, you can tap two fingers, flat, firmly against the top of the can several times before opening, this knocks down the newly built up CO2 so it won't burst when you open it. It seems to work every time for me.
It says in the description, this was recorded around December. Plus they make cuts in the video between each win. Otherwise it would be much longer and we would be watching ALL the failed tries as well as the wins.
Banners also said happy new year. So around christmas/ new year would be the time. But anyway, yes, I watched this also like " so much eating and playing, hope he washes his hands, I see corona eeeeverywheere" 😂
@{Kittichu} Im pretty sure its the guy playing the cone games and tasting the treats. His face is never shown and his voice doesn't sound either compared to his wife which does show her face and does that mhm happy wiggle when tasting stuff. The guy also does taste testing of food on other videos of theirs like bullet train bentos. And the woman is shown here 8:29 holding a box while the guy eats from the other one. Besides, do rough hands like that belong to a womans? They might, but they'd have to be slim and on the older side for those folds and sharp shapes. Either way, its the guy. Not the girl. :)
I dont see these in the US cause the people will most likely: Break the machine, push the machine, steal, and do disrespectful things to private property
Fresh Cake vending machines sounds like something from a sweet dream, really cool idea. Also I didn't understand what that pink balloon ball was for in the vending machines until the last part lol.

I like how they programmed the machines to win easy. That's how you make more money, people have more faith that they can win something.
That, and, you know, it's food that's the prize. If they made it hard to win, the food might go bad.
Lunamann they throw away old items no matter what

The claw machine will then use tricks like grab without strength, or drop the prize a little too early so it doesn't fall into the chute, to make sure it earns enough profit before giving a prize away.
I wish I could go to Japan.
Guess I'll have to continue visiting vicariously through videos :C
That's it, I'm gonna have to visit Japan sometime soon.
Not in 5 months or so you not
define "soon", 'cos I don't think anyone is going anywhere anytime "soon".
Not for at least a year buddy.
@@ConsoleFreaked lol I really didn't even think about it. Maybe I can go in a year or so
Definitely soon when it’s safer.
The fact that they have a monster energy drink machine made me love Japan even more
The reason why i want to go to Japan:
-Anime
-Their culture
.
-*Crane game*
ㄖηєσנαραη and vending machines, and hotels, and the fact that everyone is so nice and keep their environment clean
Yeeeessss give this man a raise he must be com president!!!!!!!!
I want to try the Ramen so bad. And the vending machine food lowkey
Oh and Cafes also to Finally try out my Japanese from learning it 5+ years
ㄖηєσנαραη PRINGLES
imagine being in a zombie apocalypse and then finding this place ;oo
Yea screw the zombie apocalypse I want candy
However, you'll soon die of diabetes from eating too much sweets. XD
I love how they don't try to pinch the snacks with the claw but *push the snacks instead*
It’s a very good tactic
This man just cut a solid frozen cheesecake in half with a butter knife and took a bight out of that rock

I love how Japan has a vending machine for everything that exists lol
I personally cant wait for the used panty machine
This is only possible because everyone over there have more discipline and restraint not to vandalize the vending machines.
i cant wait for the vending machine with vending machines
Wishing to have dogs but I may have to capture them!
@@cronchyapples7172 did you know there is a var vending machine? The vending machine is as big as a building

Lmao
Is he human-
I was like “Huh? How does...?”
The..... audacity.....of.....biting....that.....lollipop.....😫😫😫 lol😁
to be fair... some took many tries, but this guy is amazing at these games! most of them are rigged to be almost impossible.
I won a bucket of cqndy with 100¥ and some giant plushies in a few tries
Really wish they had cool vending machines like this in the US, Too bad people are scumbags when it comes to theft
Perfect solution to when you want snacks but you’re too anxious to order something

Sozial phobia relieve dream comes true
It actually is false. Slowly cracking it open to release air is what helps.
This myth was busted
Yup this is working!
Well I try it then tell you about it. But it may take some time to try it.
If I remember right my chemistry teacher told us to knock the can's sides (or top ???)
wow, it only took 1-3x to get a prize. i wonder if this is actually a way for advertising food products in japan?
If you watched the whole video it says on the bottom the amount of times, he actually tried more than this on most of them, one took 11 tries.
7:05 I'm like "WHAT"
7:26 not again
13:27 Oh My God
17:41 Are you kidding me
17:45 Thank god
This guy may just be the king of crane machines,. I feel like he always gets the prizes he tries.
03:20 Pringles are getting mad these days. Only looks half full.
I thought that too!
Look up shrinkflation
At least there’s two lol
America:"we have games with a 0.000001% chance of winning"
Japan:"we have games with a 90% chance of winning"
You mean "101%"?
Watching this during the Coronavirus pandemic like: “when’s the last time he washed his hands?!?”
I just posted a comment similar and thought I couldn't be the only one lol
Ikr 😣 he touch the food after playing the machine. Idk if this is an old video or he record it recently.
It says in the description, this was recorded around December. Plus they make cuts in the video between each win. Otherwise it would be much longer and we would be watching ALL the failed tries as well as the wins.
At 5:10 there's a Christmas tree to the right of the screen, so I think this must of been recorded around Christmas
Banners also said happy new year. So around christmas/ new year would be the time. But anyway, yes, I watched this also like " so much eating and playing, hope he washes his hands, I see corona eeeeverywheere" 😂
Parents: “Kids, go take some tokens and win dessert for the family”
19:08 OH MY GOD SO LUCKY DKSJDKDJ 11 PCS FOR 2 BUCKS????

Did i just spend almost 30 minutes watching a woman playing a claw machine? Yes.
Am I going to agree with you? *maybe*
*yEs*
The Claaaaawwwwwww
@{Kittichu} Omg, I had no idea and i apologize🥺 I'll edit the coment

I'm laying on my bed watching ur vid while thinking why... why is this kind of gacha isnt available in my home town...
I dont see these in the US cause the people will most likely:
Break the machine, push the machine, steal, and do disrespectful things to private property
@It'sMe yes sadly, guess I gotta go to asia to experience nice gacha/vending machines 😭
I am such a fan of crane machines, if I ever went to Japan, I think I would die from all the crane machine excitement! Lol

Fresh Cake vending machines sounds like something from a sweet dream, really cool idea.
Also I didn't understand what that pink balloon ball was for in the vending machines until the last part lol.
Maybe it was to stop if someone gets two or more boxes or if the boxes collapse
Imagine if this is how u have to get snack now? You just wanted to chill, eat some sweets and watch tv but instead you’re standing in frontline of the crane machine for a solid hour trying to get that specific bag of chips...sounds like hell

A solid hour for a single prize? My dude.. it doesn't take that long.

Ecologists: Ok, we have to reduce the expense in plastic saving in the packaging of the products.
Japan: Let's make a package for each single shit to make them look beautiful
I heard they have a pretty good recycling program so it's fine
@@ritsu_2294 they do, and theyre packaging is a lot thinner than you might think
@@ritsu_2294 Sadly nowadays is much more important to reduce the amount of generated waste, specially plastic waste, than recycling
Some company’s in japan use plastic that dissolves in water too .
They have great recycling programs and the people are disciplined. Srsly, Japan is the only country that should use plastic
