If I understand correctly, as long as it appears in your essay somewhere and has enough depth to get the point if it were placed at the end, you would still earn the point if it were placed at the beginning.
The threshold for the these point in AP Gov is not as complex. In the history courses you can get a point for complexity, so the more complicated formula will help with that. There’s really no point in getting that complicated in Gov. But you certainly can use it if you want to…
