In Unit 1 of AP Gov, we cover the following: the ideals of democracy on which the nation is built, the Enlightenment thought which inspired such ideals, the nation under the Articles of Confederation, the weaknesses of the Articles of Confederation, the Constitutional Convention and the drafting of a new Constitution (and ratification), and then we talk extensively about federalism and the various ways it has played out over time.

I am self-studying and my honors civics teacher teaches ap gov and pol while also teaching civics and she advised me if I was interested to take her class next year but I don’t wanna. Your videos help me a lot, I also told her I want to participate in the ap gov exam however it’s too late for that :((
