Nope! More RAM on the Key 61. Running the new plugins on the live,live2 or one is glitchy! Takes up too much cpu. Key 61 is snappier. And a much better experience. Facts!!
Thats if you want the new plugins… the organ and strings work fine… gonna wait to test the rest on my live 2 but i wanna test 10 days each…also in controller mode I would imagine the cpu and ram of the computer you are using will make a difference.
Of course it can be done with a controller connected to the MP c see and you can even do it with a medical controller and any music software But I still love my MPC key 61
Right! I was looking at that thing like what's the point when you have midi controllers already? I guess less hardware to carry but not worth it if you have a keyboard and MPC already.
61 keys is definitely nice, I want a nicer keyboard than what I have now - the one you see in the video. I have a digital piano with full weighted feel in the living room, so this one feels super plasticy compared to the piano.

A MPK2 would be best however I think they only come as 49 Key and not 61.
