Malcolm Willstrop was one of the greatest squash coaches of all time. His son James reached the top because of his father. It's sad that Malcolm Willstrop has passed away.

I agree completely. Fair assessment alright. The game has greater depth now ; particularly in the earlier rounds but the players at the very top now wouldn't compete with Jansher. Jonah Barrington penned a book entitled "Murder in the squash court" ( incidentally a good read) but jansher would figuratively murder the top players today. I'm puzzled to come up with a way of beating Jansher. At full flow, untouchable!!

I feel Jansher Khan was at his very best vs Rodney Eyles in the 1996 British Open final. He thrashed the talented hard hitting Australian 3-0. It was a mind boggling and thrilling experience. I was very happy because, I'm a Pakistani.

Jansher was at his best far before that - you'll gain that perspective once you're exposed to more of his matches from earlier on in his career - especially 92-97 era, where he basically pioneered the modern version of Squash we see being played today
