- Its time for a fully revised and comprehensive list of EVERY engine swap which you can fit in Gran Turismo 7! I've mentioned revising this list for a while, and now with part 5 technically - I have done just that. So sit back and enjoy this big boi of a list, comprising every motor swap which you can make use of in GT7 as recently as the GT7 1.41 update!

The V8 swap for the Porsche cayman is purely insane, a light and great handling, tiny mid engine sports car with 1408 hp is crazy

I love those 787B engine swaps
The swaps in the game are awsome but all I want is a 3.2vr6, 2.5tfsi and Demon swaps. So a Golf R32 would be nice and a mk7 R. My favorite is the R5 20vT and the K swap for the beat. Great vid man,this was really helpful
The Chiron R35 is good for 500kmh. The LS7 Rampage 240Z is great fun, still quite drivable on sports tyres, but a beast. I use the Hellcat Jeep on Northern Isle Speedway in 10 lap races vs Tommahawk. It's $111k for 3 minutes work. I like the shorter races because if you make a mistake & lose the clean driving bonus, it's only a short race & you can do it again.

14:10 I did put the R26B 787 engine in the Mazda RX8 and with good settings, it transformed the car into the best driving experience I've ever had in this game. I use it now to drive on the 30' min race in Le mans. Settings just under 700pp and I win the race in 8 laps, 1 pit stop and 2-3 minutes advance from my opponent

I noticed almost all GT3 and GR.B based road cars cept the Peugeot RCZ GT3 road car have engine swaps hopefully in the next update it would be the opportunity to make the 908 engine available to swap it into that car.
I love the C6 ZR1 with the Chiron engine, easily passes 300mph and still manageable on a track. It has some understeer now that a heavier engine is in it.

I used my engine swapped Delorian for a race against lmp cars at le'mon and still decimated. But be warned. You absolutely must fit a wing otherwise your going around every corner in circles. Also it guzzles gas even on lean power and on full power your going to shred tires. Still, can't beat watching a Delorian smoke purpose built LMP1 cars lol.
Some more engine swaps I’ve had special interest in since my last comment, as well as my thoughts on some of the new cars added:
Mustang Boss 429: Not only does its engine swap make it lighter, the Boss 429 also has access to a diffuser (unusually for an old muscle car), which aids in handling with the increased power. With maxed weight reduction, it’s only a hair above 1,100 kilograms, or specifically 2,427 lbs. Probably the best old muscle car to take to a technical track all things considered.
Corvette C6 ZR1: Absolute beast. I have three of them; one with a widebody and full aero kit to aid in taking full speed turns on SSRX, as well as a tune for general track use, which also breaks 300 MPH in the Mulsanne Straight with no chicanes. My best lap time on the Chicane-less de la Sarthe is just a second and a hair over 3 minutes. I have another setup with no widebody, diffuser, and wingless which is my top speed build, which I managed to get 336 MPH max without wind or declines, 355 MPH with NOS and the above conditions. My third build is similar to my second build, except the swapped-in engine is completely stock, no weight reduction, but features wingless + diffuser alongside sport brake pads and the fully custom manual transmission to still go over 300 MPH.
Charger R/T 426 Hemi (no swap, but hear me out): F&F reference in the widebody aside, this is the only other old muscle car (apart from the aforementioned Boss 426) I found to accept a rear diffuser, which of course aids in downforce. The difference between it and pretty much every other car eligible for the Alsace 1 hour race in terms of handling is night and day. Even with it weighing close to 4,000 lbs and on comfort tires, it still corners well enough to keep up with much lighter cars, and is so far the only non-engine swapped car I used in a non-1-make endurance race that I won. I of course lowered the power for the car to be eligible for the race, but it still gave the other cars a spanking when I ran it in spite of it also being the thirstiest car in the field.
Model 3 Performance: I’m less psyched about the car itself (although I still think it’s a good addition), and more psyched that it’s the first modern Tesla introduced in the game. Not only that, but unlike the previous two pedestrian EVs, it can accept a rear diffuser to increase downforce even more, which you may as well need since the top speed is limited regardless. While not as powerful as the Taycan, coupled with the diffuser for increased downforce and it being even lighter, all these should make up for the Model 3’s weaknesses in comparison.

I think the Chiron engine swap is one of the laziest options Polyphony could have added. The swap doesn't even make sense for any of the cars it can now be dumped into.

You can’t use swaps in any kind of BOP racing, and you can choose to ban them in lobbies. (An option I think should be limited to racing lobbies and not free roam. Banning in free roam/cruise just sucks.)

I always wonder if i'm the only one who does engine swaps for free in the garage instead of paying in the maintenance & service area. If anyone can please confirm so as to rest assured i'm not the only one, and that it's not a bug but rather a loophole that the developers never noticed. Thanks

same with the RB26 or RB25. like actually every popular JDM should have more tuning potential like the V6 of the Nissan GT-R
@ShampooTV-_ Exactly, I'm an American, so I obviously love a great V8. But the RB's, 2JZ's, and many other I6's are among my favorite engine platforms. Same for much of the racing and automotive culture.
16:17 That might be the STUPIDEST swap outside of the Chiron engine in anything. Why the hell would you want to put a road car engine in a race car? The only swaps that are truly useful are ones where you can drop a race engine in a road car and this is the complete opposite of that
Unfair for sports mode if some people are usings swaps. Still use car everywhere else tho
@@dukedub It goes against BoP anyway, so you cannot run anything swapped in Sport Mode. My point is that 99% of the swaps are either useless or outright stupid. The only engine swaps worth doing are race engines since they refuse to add new race cars
