Today there’s supposed to be a major homeless encampment, clean up in Culver City underneath the 405 on Venice Boulevard do a tragic circumstance they were not able to clean. I had the possibility to interview a couple homeless people about their situation Both men were really friendly and talk to me about homelessness.

We really need to reinstitute the State mental asylums. They need to be institutionalized, housed, fed and rehabilitated. It’s awful to live that way, dangerous and sad.

I probably wouldn’t go that route… you would be amazed at how quickly ppl recover when they have the ability to get clean, have good food and housing and are treated with compassion. A number of privately run, well-organized tiny house developments have done this and are very successful. It can be done well. There are so many commercial and office spa es now empty that could be converted into apt. style housing.

California - Governor's office - claims the state has spent billions on the homeless. Clearly not a dollar for public housing. No apartments, just needles and boxes to collect needles, curbside sandwich delivery, alleged medical services, alleged legal services. All money for Democrat party comrades. Nothing for those left in tents.

I live on Washington and Sawtelle and it’s even over here too. I feel so bad for them but I try not to cross under the 405 here because I’ve had bottles thrown at me. The other day, on Washington and National, a business woman or office worker was just minding her own business waiting to cross at the light when a homeless woman brutally attacked her from behind, clubbing her in the skull and pushing her into the street before continuing to assault her on the ground. I weaved around the traffic and threw my car into park w the hazards in the street the corner got out to help within a few seconds of the first punch. I honked loudly and shouted LEAVE HER THE F ALONE and jumped out to help. I got the homeless broads attention/distracted her enough to give the victim time to run into a fellow passerby woman/good samaritans car who helped her escape this madness. I was sure the lady was going to kick and damage my car but she then turned her violence and threats to me. Threatening my life, I called CCPD. I’m sure she will be released in 2 hours 😢

If the average is 90 percent they get 90 percent of their salary. If we give them a D they get 60 percent of their salary. It is insane that we pay they taxes to be the servants of the people and make us live with this crap. They have their mansions. They have their private drivers, planes and security. The biggest issue is mental illness and addiction. But that’s not gonna be fixed on the street. They need to be in most cases forced into a mental institution…
I know it’s opening Pandora’s box of abuse. How many people will be called insane but are perfectly fine, they just made the wrong enemies. How hard will it be to get in and even harder out. How many will be permitted residents.
These are all questions no one wants to answer as we all have freedom of movement. Then the question of illegal immigrants.
Overall it’s past my pay scale to think about how this would work. All I know is they need to do something more then spend billions to none profits owned by family and friends that Benefit from it getting worse.

Although "mental illness" are the buzz words their "leadership" wants you to believe. Living off taxpayer's money, getting money for food, etc., and being allowed to commit crimes, is just enabling them. They create filth, expect someone else to clean it up, then create more. They've also learned how to act, becoming talking head's, just like the media, and that it's "showtime" any time someone point's a camera at them. If BS was a horse, the guy GIV was talking to, would be Secretariet.

In California where the non-profit organizations LAHSA pocket ton of money and making more money and became a drug society housing druggies not family or vets.
In additional to, California Homeless Healthcare organization giving away free drugs including meth pipe for the homeless to become drug dealers selling those drug to citizens while traveling to other States and back since the mental ill and homeless get free government bus pass and metrolink access.

When I was a kid in school. We had to collect money for the kids in Ethiopië.
Now I am 46 years old. And my own kid was doing a dancemarathon at his school also to collect money for the children in Ethiopië.
    Its almost 35 years later.
My point is it will not help and only get worse. ALSO with all those homeless people.
    No one can change this.
There are millions and millions and millions of people who live like this.
    It is sad.😢

i have done that before as long as there is a crisis someone is making money off of it if theywerent they would require them to work if they are health and put in jail to get them off teh drugs and nutrtion then put to work, you better believe it. someone is making money off of this homelessness problem not sure who but they are and this is why it never gets better.

The total destruction of the areas they camp is unreal, no respect when drugs takeover your life.

I lived in that area in the 90s. The homeless situation was nowhere near this bad in those days. What a shame.

These videos are important. This is one of the few sources of genuine information. This isn’t available anywhere else. I just wish there was someone that would do this for Kensington, Philadelphia.
