    I just picked one up at a flea market, for $10 ! Yes TEN dollars. It's 90% complete and it was owned by an adult and no childrens hands ever touched it ... When I asked him how much, I had to ask him again...he said he was just tired of carrying it around week to week, and wanted to just unload it.... All electronics work, and no damage ..I'm still in shock every time I walk by it...
    Right place at the right time I guess.....
    Never give up the hunt...
    Cheers

      Lol I just bought one 100% MISB from a guy who's going through a divorce for $180!!!! Not as good a deal as you got, for sure, but still, MISB for 180 is a DAMN good deal, lol! Never give up the hunt!

    Wonderful video; brilliant opening comic-book collage. The "big AT-AT" is a real delight. Glad I bought mine in the stores back in the day. Just luck that I found it. That golden age of the Legacy Collection's assortment of huge and detailed vehicles is behind us, so videos like this help people who missed particular items enjoy them.

    Posing tip: The AT-AT's walk cycle is based on that of an elephant, so it's 'knees' should never bend backwards. 🐘

    I know this video is from 5 years ago. But...the rubber boot that you were concerned about longevity, what you need to do is get some Armor All (or similar product) and apply according to the directions. It will re-moisturize with the appropriate chemicals that leech out of vinyl and rubber over time. And also very important, it has UV protectants, so that sunlight won't have such a negative effect on the rubber. I don't know about other companies products, but Armor-All has options for how shiny you want the rubber to be when done. Shiny, extra shiny, and sort of matte, or neutral. Like how it is now, but re-moisturized. Hope this helps.

    I bought this back in 2010 from Toys R Us in Lafayette, Louisiana. It came in the vintage-styled packaging. I had all kinds of fun with my AT-AT. I never owned the very 1st one that came out in the early 1980's. I bought al least 14 Imperial Snowtroopers to put in it, although I never put all of them in there at one time. This vehicle is a must-have for any and all Star Wars fans!!! #generalmaximilianveers #hoth #snowtroopers

    One of the greatest Star Wars toys of all time, second only to the Legacy Falcon in my collection, although it may very well drop down a peg when the Sail Barge arrives......

    • @adapa11
      @adapa11  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes! I agree. The Jabba's Sail Barge will surely dethrone them all. But could you imagine if they did a Death Star playset re-make or do a Death Star II playset with the Emperor's Throne Room? Hopefully in our life time. lol. Thanks my friend.

    I have been looking forward to your review of this amazing toy for a long time. It was worth the wait. Your reviews are so in-depth and comprehensive. I feel like I have explored every aspect of this vehicle, almost as though I had it sitting on the bench in front of me. Makes me anticipate your future review of Jabba's Sail Barge.
    Thanks for half an hour of sheer Star Wars bliss!

      I just got a complete single owner one for $200 USD. Which sounds like a lot. But considering its sheer size and playability, it didn’t seem like a bad price to me. Plus the previous owner customized it by panel lining it from top to bottom with Gundam markers and drybrushed tons of weathering and grime into it to make it look worn and used. It almost looks like an ILM model because of it. It’s definitely the center piece of my collection alongside my Smuggler’s Run TVC Millennium Falcon

    • @drewlovelyhell4892
      @drewlovelyhell4892 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I believe you can soak yellowed plastic in Hydrogen Peroxide to bring back the white colour.
      (There should be some videos about it on YT).
      Though, unless you can disassemble this toy, it might be very difficult to do, given it's size.
