You forgot Advanced Nox on the last boss's first phase. You'll get 2 exaflares on each side except one, and a knockback (Deadly Dealing) in the middle. Just get knocked back into the empty side and move into the now-gone nearest set of exaflares.
I think Zadnor is a great area that has a new feel. The encounters are very refreshing as well. I'm excited to try out the new raid. I actually enjoyed Castrum alot and played it a lot more once the memories became worth it. Looking forward to this. Thanks for taking the time to share the guide 🙂 Happy Questing!
@@sweepingtime so true! No matter how many times I run an engagement... I'm bound to die at least once 🤣 because there is a mechanic that is so a quick reaction. They did a great job in keeping it engaging and challenging no matter how many times you run soemthing
this is one of the best "normal" 24 man raids imo! .. its my 1st week on this boss, loving it! (though I still occasionally die at the "Diablo mirror dash" move xD.., or occasionally during the 2nd last boss, get caught in a corner when the "spinning" boss gets me xD..)
Seems like clearing the first two fights at the same time (or close enough together) awards the third chest. We had top team hold dps at minimum hp until they saw the "area is no longer sealed" message then burst for the third chest. Edit: this is not the case; just finish quick and you get the third chest.
To avoid being sent into a puddle, during forced march. Just go all the way north, or south touching the wall. If he's sending you left, or right you'll basically get stuck in the wall (not permanently), and if he's sending you north or south you'll just move up or down the middle ^_^
or just be in the middle with your self facing a direction thats directly between puddles. That way if you go forward back or to sides its always going to be between puddles.
I've seen 3 chests behind the Legion Scorpion. Idk why tho. I think there were deaths in my encounter? I can't recall but I bet there were. It was 2 light parties too so not too many people. Either way I saw 3 chests yea, the middle one was a blue bigger chest.
Anyone else have issues with the acceleration bombs on this fight, because i go as healer i stop dont move dont attack and even sheath my weapon and it still goes off on me. One time I was stunned after doing LB3 as healer and was in the down on the ground tuckered out animation after it had gone off unable to move or attack and acceleration bomb still went off on me killing me. I'm also very familiar with acel bomb mechanics because ive cleared BA many times.
If all the honors do is stack to +50% Dmg, HP, Healing, then DR Savage is still going to be a ghost town no one wants to do. That does nothing whatsoever to address what was wrong with it as a successor to BA, which is that BA was very casual accessible in mechanics and difficulty and DR Savage is not. I can do these things just fine, the HUGE casual crowd that has/had fun farming BA are the ones who take a while to get the 24man tier mechanics down, yet alone more. Content of that size needs the casual crowd to thrive or it dies due to low participation, and DRS came out the gate with low participation.
DRS has a low participation rate yeah. But that's ok, that's what the content was made to be-----a high-end raid that requires players to push their limit. Just like any other high end content(savage and ultimates), they need to be difficult and somewhat inaccessible. If you are bad, if you cannot afford to spend time improving then you won't clear(which is totally ok, it's just a video game and not everyone has enough time after dealing with rl issues). Not every content needs to have high participation rate. The game is already casual driven as it is. The four-men dungeons have became simple braindead face roll, the nier raids have next to no alliance mechanics, the Dalriada was a joke on day one with no minimum scaling and day one echo. Even Leviathan Unreal is way undertuned compared to Titan and Shiva. The game's difficulty has been watered down so much already, there's no point in nerfing a content that was made to be difficult in the first place just to get more participation.
@@Vincent-hx1ql DRS is the successor to BA so having no appeal or fit for the bulk of BA's participants is simply a failure. Like if an Ultimate was too easy and a joke to clear, it would fail its main audience. Basically DRS successfully tided over the people missing an Ultimate, and then all the casuals looking for a light challenge got kind of shafted. So no, I disagree with you entirely, and doubly with your "Well it is easy enough for my static and all content is watered down and too easy" elitism. BA's target audience isn't "man my static was bored of Eden so I'm glad we got this for a few weeks", BA's target audience is the much broader segment of players, and a lot of them aren't all that good. It does not mean they don't deserve content or that an elitist should have an insulting attitude toward them. For my part, I'm an extremely competent player with a huge amount of progression raid and raid leading experience. Plenty of mechanics in the game come easily to me and can be repeatedly consistently, but I'm not going to be a jerk to casuals and act like they don't deserve content, or whine that "everything is so watered down". Bull honky on that, the 8-main raids provide plenty of very challenging content. Giant 48 player raids can't, not without being dead ghost towns.
I think a better way to approach DRS design might be to scale the reward with vulnerability stacks + DPS + heal, as is, mechanic become more forgiving, but if too many ppl get hit too many times, raid will still wipe, and those who get hit more and/or contribute less will get less reward if the boss is cleared. This way, casual crowd can still approach the content if they want to, and harder core player will be rewarded for their effort.
Ironically, just ran into you in Zadnor after watching this and while watching it a second time. That or was a hardcore fan. Either way, thanks for the guide. I only died once.
Dalriada, Dal Riata, Dal Riada.. It's a historical Gaelic kingdom which XIV takes a lot of naming from. You had it correct. I'll also mention the common mispronunciation of Dun Scaith, which is also a historical area in Scotland.. More like "Dun Skye".. located on the Isle of Skye.
I have done this raid with a party of 5. That echo buff is really strong! None of the hits really hurt all that much, but omg the fights took forever! It's totally do-able. Have also ran the raid without a tank. Or, well... TRIED to. That, imo, isn't suggested. The Blm in our pt took a tank buster to the face, and went SPLAT, after the only tank in the entire alliance fell. Poor tank was new, so they kept dieing, forcing us healers to alternate tanking, which meant we had a difficult time healing anyone. We did not have a full alliance, btw. Anyway, we just flat ran out of time. Lesson learned. If you go into this and find you only have ONE tank, you better hope they are familiar with the mechs of this fight. 😁
I like to shout hallway callouts when Dalriada is on but I'm not in there. They can still see my shouts. 😁 I'm just kidding, but someone could totally do that.
Damn I was hoping you would keep the audio footage of the hallway with the tank that didn't have tank stance on and you raging like a 10 year old being told you can't have the candy.
That echo buff has caused a ton of toxic behavior in instances I've been in, ranging from people just asking for fewer people to queue to people outright shouting profanities when more than eight people queue, to people telling newbies to straight up not join because 'you'll slow us down'. I get why they did it, but it was a pretty bad call.

Dalryda? This is why we need voice acting in everything with Garleans in it lol

When was the last time misdirection was used as a mechanic? I vaguely remember something...

Can anyone confirm if the Sauvitore or w/e field notes from the SF drops from the first encounter with him?
If they do, its a rare drop from one of the three possible first chests, there is no chest immediately after killing Sarty
Can this be done unsynched with a party??
I should hop back, i havent played since 5.0

how did you have multiple times displayed?
for the mount do we need to get the entries from the duels as well?
