Glad to see you back at it! Would love to see some tpi stuff. Im going to be doing a l98 86 vette project soon. It has a locked up motor from sitting in this FL heat for few yrs. But i snagged a L31 from 99 GMC with 062 heads from LKQ. I also have 113 aluminum heads also i got for cheap that had minor work done. I have a zz4 cam that I'll probably use on this build.

It’s been a long time since I’ve worked on an old school SBC, the last thing I can remember is the aluminum LT1 heads and intake porting.
I don’t have much experience with TPI stuff. Vortec heads run strong as long as you modify the valve guide and seal clearance issue to add valve lift ability.
It sounds like you’ve got a collection of parts to get something together! 👍

Yeah my new iPhone 13 has a “Cinematic” feature for recording video, apparently it’s sensitive to movement? I’m not going to use it unless I have to, a 15 min 28 sec video used 1.1 GB of storage! 😳

I haven’t spec’d the camshaft for it yet; but I see where you’re going with running a single plane intake where a dual-plane would match better. I wasn’t involved with the intake or the head choice.
I’ll ask what alls done to the engine and what the plan is. JD

Apparently he has a Fast 2.0 fuel injection setup and it’s recommended to run a single plane intake.
455 .060” w/ flat tops and an Eagle rotating assembly. So he was told.
