Lol. These disassembly and reassembly videos really freak me out because I know I will screw it up. I remember swapping a new coin cell in my Casio surfing watch and it didn't work u until I jiggled the battery insulation sheet.

Impressive and am hoping that you can perhaps provide some guidance. My GA2000-3A has apparently gone on the blink and after changing the batteries and doing the AC short circuit, it still is. Can't get it into the handset mode nor will the hands realign to midnight. The mode button works but none of the display option comes up. I think it's toast and is probably a failure of the damned circuit board. Am doubting it's even worth trying to repair it or if it can be?! Would appreciate your thoughts. Thanks.

When i press the black button i can't feel the pressure like silver one buttons. Is the black button defective or its ok?
I appreciate the upload. My second GA 2000 was delivered today from an authorized dealer and I noticed that the MODE subdial did not align that is when at the home mode. Evidently, this is adjustable/correctable watching your reassembly tutorial, yes? Should I not be so concerned? Thanks!

Hi, does anyone know if there’s a video showing the reassembly process for a GA-100-1A1ER ? I attempted to replace the battery retaining clip after snapping it, and 4 tiny springs came flying out! I now need to know how to put it back together… thanks.
That should be the springs for its LED backlight. Find the led and there should
be slot to insert that spring.
It could also be the springs that connect to the analog movement/motors.
It could also be a spring for the piezoelectric speaker.
What battery is used in this?
