I agree with the principle. But the time frame is far too short. If you need to improve your life it won't happen in a couple of months. My ex keeps saying that we're after all like a Brother and Sister!! I broke up with him, ignored him, traveled , he texted me saying that he misses me, I didn't respond. My ex ended it last month saying she doesn’t see a future with us. Went into NC , dropped off her stuff n she dropped mine off . 2 weeks later I dropped more off at her door , she immediately texted a huge confusing novel almost turning it around on me saying she imagined we would talk and that “the door is closed on my end” as if I broke up with her . The text ended with “I love you baby. Bye.”
I didn’t respond as it seemed like a huge switch and I felt she needed to be more direct.
It’s been a month now from that message , should I send a text asking if all that was just goodbye or was it her wanting to talk about things? I just don’t want to play games or now suddenly respond weeks later and have it make no sense nor have any benefit.
