Why Mistborn after Stormlight? Mistborn is recommended as the first series by the author. I'm glad I did it that way, but I can see how another order could produce some fun revelations. I'm still a proponent of Mistborn first.
While we recommend that order as well, we wanted to start with Stormlight because the world is more complicated and therefore daunting to some. Our research and preparation for the channel actually started with Mistborn, so we have some drafts stowed away. We absolutely will get over to the Mistborn series, but we also knew we had some time before the next release in that series. With Stormlight 5 coming this year, we elected to start there with our videos! With the evergreen discussion on reading order, we’ll probably put a video out about that at some point, too!
