Thank you so much for this information! I love leaning culture specific details like this. This is actually so similar to many other areas of the world. I remember learning to specifically ask for the water closet in the UK, NOT the bathroom, because they could be two different things. Also, when Snowy Escape came out, the builders for that pack were advised to put the toilets in separate little rooms adjacent to the bathrooms. Anyway, thanks for the info. And yes, they are called powder rooms, or half baths.
I love word hopscotch it's so funny for me. Because in my language, "hop" is the sound for jumping and "scotch" is the verb for jumping. It's sound literally same.
I can definitely see the Southeast Asian inspiration from the world design. The look and layout of the streets and buildings remind me of my city in the Philippines, it's a bit rural in my place cause we have lots of trees in my area, but we do have lots of buildings built close to each other, just like the layout of the buildings in the video.
I really want this pack but i’m not allowed so i love that you’re posting a lot of video’s about it because that way i can kinda experience it as well if that makes sense!
it does very much seem like they had a half finished southeast asian inspired game pack and a half finished apartment game pack and stuck them together with some ducktape.
Agshjijhbfg- I LOVE the color schemes here (especially the inside of the minty one)!! unrelated- but that green sweater really brings out the green in your eyes!
After playing for such a long time I am starting to wonder more and more about other new worlds, you already see houses you want to go to and once you move into that world you see plenty of open spaces but you are not even allowed to walk to them.
A question (for which I apologize if it has already been answered): when you subdivided a room that has already been designed as part of "Unit 1" into two rooms, do both subdivisions automatically remain as part of Unit 1? Because, if so, the way to cut down on the 'designation workload' would be to make one big space, designate it as a part of a Unit, THEN subdivide.
theory: the small number of lots is a) they were behind schedule on production so didnt have time to make lots and b) the feature was super laggy and four rentals was the literal max of lots they felt could fit in one save without lag
No way. I live in Brazil and the tiles (that you considered that you can’t tell if you like it or not) This is so nostalgic. The old fanshioned chair gaaaaa I’m buying this pack (Just noticed the PLASTIC CHAIRS I can literally make my grandma’s house in this pack even if it’s intended to be in Southeast Asia)
i wish there was one more rental lot, maybe a 2 bed starter or a full floor 3 bed rental? its hard to play families in this world even though the trailer focused so much on generational gameplay.

This build reminds me of the houses in my grandmother's neighborhood in the Philippines. The interiors also look like some houses I've lived in Thailand. Good job. Sul sul.
This pack does look promising even though the world is small. Its so pretty and I cant wait to live in the world and build with the cool new stuff!
I really want this pack, don't know if I should just wait for the sale though! Not sure how much I'll use it tbh 😂
I saw its on sale already on cd keys!
@anniexx6645 ooh really! Need to check
@bellab5145 i always buy my packs there (i live in the Netherlands) and its totally safe!
Arguably, you should pretty much ALWAYS wait for the packs to go on sale 😂 or just get them from CD keys, I've had no problems with it so far 🤭
@@gwendolynrobinson3900 fully fully agree!!! The packs are almost never full price, even at release. I’ve used it for years and it is a legit store :)
I can't wait until this pack goes on sale. I love all of the new build and buy items.
FUNCTIONAL!! So exciting
😭😭😭 omg I feel you. No matter how much you remember to save, you will still forget from time to time. Lol the build is great! So inspiring!
I loveeee the colours in this build 😍
I think some of the new stuff will go great with the stuff from decor to the max 😍
I cannot express how happy I am about the ac units
heyyy i just wanted to say that we dont really use that floored toilets in the main bathroom with the shower (at middle east). we usually have a realllly small second bathroom with only that floor toilets and a little sink next to it(i think you call them powder rooms). its because we usually have crowded households and really need a toilet when someone is taking a shower at the main bathroom:D you prolly dont detailly know this and wanted to use the new pack and i get it but i just wanted to say it to be more realistic:) love the rest of the video! cant wait for you to play with this pack normally with the other packs!!
This is probably one of my favorite builds you’ve ever made!!
it feels smaller than moodwood mill (maybe even lot wise, but i mean like, just being in moodwood mill feel bigger)
Kayla- you are awesome at building! Thank you for sharing your talents.
I’d love if someone creates rental properties in each of the worlds. Like the college town would be cute or some of the other worlds.
Nooooo when it crashed… the build is so beautiful I was really looking forward to playing in it
This is such a game changing pack!
I liked the rug with the first couch, it looked like the diamonds in the rug matched the couch and it worked!
13:07 As an asian, the squat toilet bowl next to a bath tub feels so wrong 😂😂😂 But it made my day to have a laugh ❤
I cannot wait for this pack! Thanks for another great video!
kayla radiates such good vibes 🥹💗
Ohhh I love that tile trick from the kitchens!
I love Kayla wanting to branch out and then going absolutely delulu and trying to use the purple couch
Love struck and For Rent are my new favorite Sims 4 packs ☺️☺️
The queen has posted!
EARLY!❤🎉
I LOVE THIS PACK SO MUCH i cant wait to get it
It looks so beautiful!! It reminds me a lot of some brazilian houses I've been to
I love how simsie described this version of the game as ✨QUIRKY✨
kayla: these units are going to be COMPLETELY DIFFERENT
also kayla: *creates a carbon copy of the first unit with different colors*
I’d love to see you build a multi level apartment building with shared lobby’s and 6 apartments (two per floor)
Those apartments are so nice!
i’m getting some retro spanish vibes from the first house
i wish they would've made the fake buildings livable cause their exterior look so good
Agshjijhbfg- I LOVE the color schemes here (especially the inside of the minty one)!!
unrelated- but that green sweater really brings out the green in your eyes!
After playing for such a long time I am starting to wonder more and more about other new worlds, you already see houses you want to go to and once you move into that world you see plenty of open spaces but you are not even allowed to walk to them.
Omg omg someone should make the Gnomeo and Juliet house
watching you build inspires me to want to build more
that blue roof is so fun and adorable, i want you to use it all the time! lol
Stairs facing the front door and a countertop. Definitely something you don't normally see in a regular southeast asian house I think. hahaha
I love the floor tiles. It’s so SEA 😂😂😂
almost 2 mil!!!❤
theory: the small number of lots is a) they were behind schedule on production so didnt have time to make lots and b) the feature was super laggy and four rentals was the literal max of lots they felt could fit in one save without lag
South asian stuff reminds me so much of south american stuff, a lot of the things could also be in a more traditional brazillian house, i love it!
this is one of your best build!!!
Can you upload this to the gallery? Its so beautiful 😍
If you watch it then it would be great to do an “every apartment is a different Only Murders in the Building character” build!
this is so cute!! I love ittt!!
No way.
I live in Brazil and the tiles (that you considered that you can’t tell if you like it or not)
This is so nostalgic.
The old fanshioned chair gaaaaa I’m buying this pack
(Just noticed the PLASTIC CHAIRS I can literally make my grandma’s house in this pack even if it’s intended to be in Southeast Asia)
i wish there was one more rental lot, maybe a 2 bed starter or a full floor 3 bed rental? its hard to play families in this world even though the trailer focused so much on generational gameplay.
It’s give the gnomeo and Juliet houses, a bright blue one and a red one 😭 I absolutely adore the build
