A wonderful well built boat by a great designer Bill Garden who i got to no whilst skippering a yacht based out of Canoe cove Vancouver BC in 1975 ,a great year sailing . Capt... Ken Sten Now i own a sister to this fine traditional vessel

Doubtful you're doing 8 knots in CT 41 unless it's with a current. Probably more like 6.. 7 at best
