    Am I correct in saying that we could link our own main email accounts within the office, but for any contractors they would use the BCC account, when sending from their company email account?
    I assume that any emails that can't be linked automatically are stored somewhere for manual linking (I don't think you touched on this)
    BTW - I will be in touch to look at using your services.

      Yes, you can sync your main email with Pipedrive. However, in order to allow other people to Bcc emails into your Pipedrive account, you would need to whitelist their email address first.
      Yes, if you go to your Sales Inbox, you can see all your messages and whether they've been linked or not.

    Hi Paul! Loving these Pipedrive videos. When syncing Gmail, I know you mentioned adding certain 'labels' to only be synced. Are those labels created in gmail? Also, in another CRM I used, they would pull in EVERY email or calendar invite attendee (even if it's a non-sales related calendar event) in as a contact so now my accountant, random meeting attendees from a webinar, etc. are in there as contacts even though they aren't leads, prospects, etc. Does this happen in pipedrive too? Trying to decide if I want to download Pipedrive but this can be a dealbreaker if so.

      Thanks, glad the videos have been useful.
      Yes, the labels are created in Gmail and will then appear in your PD email settings.
      If you set up a two-way calendar sync, then you can choose to sync appointments for a certain activity type, but you don't have to. Similar with the contact sync. It's up to you and you don't have to sync contacts if you don't 'want.

    hiya, at the end of this video you mention that you can do all of this from your email (outlook gmail etc.) do you have a video that shows this way?

      Not specifically on that. But you can use the Pipedrive Bcc feature to copy emails into a Pipedrive deal. Or depending on your sync settings, your email will auto-sync.

      @@minor-co Thanks Paul is there anyway you could do a 2 min video showing the ability to send an email directly from outlook/gmail or microsft inbox and track them on pipedrive. This is an extremely important feature my business needs and despite much searching no one is able to show me this feature. I'm hoping its similar to other crms with an integration/ widget that pops up on the right-hand side when you are about to send an email from outlook/gmail or Microsoft with a tick box or option to save the communication under the contact record. To give more context while I will be fine to send emails from inside pipedrive some of my team will not and will just want the option to save the communication directly from their inbox. So far I love everything else I see about Pipedrive and just want to make sure this feature actually works because I just spent months wasted on another crm to find out its not a feature. Thank you in advance.

      Yes, this sync and appear in your Pipedrive settings.

    Can you link an email to a person/organization or just a deal/lead/Project?

      Yes, the email will link to the contact person in Pipedrive based on their email address. As long as that person is linked to an org, the email will show on the person and org.

    If you have a team and you’re using one email, is it possible to connect only a sub folder so your team doesn’t see every email that you get and it’s only limited to that particular folder?

      I'm not sure about sub folders, but you can sync certain labels (in Gmail) or folders (in Outlook) rather than syncing everything.

    Hey Paul, great video - thank you! One question- I am really looking for a way to automate email replies in the same threads. It seems like Pipedrive hasn't made this feature yet and I'd rather not have to integrate another platform for this. Do you know any workarounds?

      I'm afraid the only way to reply in the same thread would be to manually reply from the deal. You wouldn't be able to automate this though I'm afraid.

    Hi Paul. in the last year I've use Outlook and sync with PB. With both apps open I moved emails from the outlook inbox to subfolders so as to segregate emails by customer. Moving the outlook inbox email to a subfolder didn't have any effect on PB i.e. PB kept the same email in its inbox and thus allowed continual alignment to a deal. Last week whenever on moving an outlook inbox email to a subfolder, the PB inbox equivalent email disappears and worst of all if that email was linked to a deal (where you can see the history etc) it also disappear. Any advice?

      Hi Evan, I'm afraid Pipedrive doesn't support mailboxes yet. So when you organise them in Outlook, this doesn't carry over to Pipedrive. I'm not sure what happened with your email last week... normally you need to delete the email in Pipedrive for it to disappear.

      Yes, you could use a workflow to add a label. You'd just need to think about what the trigger would be i.e. when a deal gets to a certain stage, or is won, add a label.

    As of today, all of my emails in Gmail are flowing into Pipedrive. I've never had this happen and now even my spam emails are there. I don't have specific labels for leads in Gmail, so I have no idea what happened. Any advice?

      You probably already have but check your sync settings. I recommend using a Pipedrive label to only sync emails with that label rather than your entire inbox.
