I cant get the trackmap to display or show up as an option to select. Standings, Relative, and Settings are the only options available to display. What am I missing that you didn't show already?
The latest release of ioverlay has meant the trackmap and twitch chat can't be viewed. Apparently this will be sorted in the next update of iOverlay. Sorry I am not the developer, but I stay updated in the iOverlay discord.
@@andypang6416 thanks Andy, I´ve found your answer in another of your videos, I´m sorry for the duplicated question. Also I learned that the overlays will turn transparent if you place them far enough, although it is not working yet for me and still get the full black bg in VR. I´m using OpenXR but apparently that is not the issue. I´ll keep testing. I might test Oculus instead just to test, but OpenXR gives me better performance. BTW I use the Meta Quest 3.
@@andypang6416 I´m not familiar with OpenKneeboard. But I think it works with OpenXR. The overlays are kind of transparent, but I still see a bit of the border and the box header bar. Not sure I´ll make that disappear but I guess it will me a matter of try and see.
With the rift S can it be configured the same?
I don't think so , as Rift S can't access the Quest link dashboard can it?

@@andypang6416 That's a huge fail! Trackmap is the main reason for this overlay. iOverlay will be deleted! Thanks for your assistance.
@@samuelharris4431 As I say, it's going to be fixed on the next update. To be honest in VR it's hard to look at all the overlays!
@@samuelharris4431 LOL they have just released iOverlay 1.1.3 which fixes the missing trackmap in VR
@andypang6416 thanks for the notice. I'll check it out.
Do you have to configure the overlays every time you launch iRacing?
Yes unfortunately. There is no way of saving the positions. It's a 5 minute task so it's not too bad.

@@fonmunoz I didnt know you could use OpenXR with ioverlay without using openkneeboard?
