6:00 That was used to be the barbershop where I had my hair cut before pandemic when I was still working in office in SCBD area. Now, after 1.5 years working from home, I kinda miss my barber. They recently renovated to the fancier place just months before first lockdown began in April 2020. It must have been a pretty bad time for any barbershop, let alone the ones who just recently renovated. Even as I am fully staying working from home far in the suburb, my favorite go-to mall in Jakarta is still Pacific Place and that Kem-Chick supermarket in the basement. 11:17 Thats not the only CoCo store in Jakarta, when it was firstly opened, the queue was pretty long. I was introduced to the first Coco store actually in Supermal Karawaci in Tangerang Area, the one you just saw in Pacific Place was actually one of the newer ones.

Ah Pacific Place. I like that place, it's my first choice if want to meet with friends or colleagues. The ambience is very calm ans comfy, not crowded with people (could be bcs not the peak time)
Don't forget to try living at the "Taman Anggrek Apartment", before you leave Jakarta ! the locations around 2 km from where you live now ! there you will definitely be able to produce dozens of vlog contents because the environment is very attractive, find also biggest aquarium in Indonesia.
Every big mall at Jakarta, they have different and very interesting specs. Wow.......that's really cool. 👍👍🏻👍🏽 If you have a complete bookstore in the city of Surabaya, you can get it at Gramedia Bookstore at the south part of Tunjungan Plaza 1-6.
Try going to Senayan City (for general brands) and Senayan Plaza (for high end brands). Only 30 minutes walk from your apartment. I can guarantee, you will like them. Enjoy Jakarta!

if you don't mind how much you pay for apartment in SCBD, did you got it from air BnB or other online website? since i'm planning to visit Jakarta next year, and looking to rent around that area. and i like the area where you at now, which is between South and Central Jakarta. i used to stay at the tree house at setia budi about 5 minutes from SCBD its a nice hotel only 3 stories building but no view.
Haha Jakarta is definitely not village compare with Shanghai. But what I meant is in SCBD all the crazy looking buildings are so together, so in that case makes it more unique to me. 😆
In groundfloor there is Kemchick Supermarket and into the area there is a little Indonesia restorant that sell traditional food like snack, food, beverage
