For me the "Everybody votes Channel" and the "Forecast Channel" don't work, On Forecast gives me an Error FORE000005 / FORE000006, only the News Channel works perfectly (Dolphin Emulator)
Usually I get the FORE000006 error when the forecast is in the middle of updating. This tends to happen around the beginning of an hour. (At least for my Wii.)
RiiConnect24 Ah, makes sense that there's probably a server pretending to be one of Nintendo's servers (I didn't realise that the Wii wouldn't directly connect to Weathernews), then… Yeah, it'd make sense that you'd use AccuWeather, as that seems to be one of the most popular weather providers for apps provided by phone manufacturers (besides TWC and a few others).
Yeah. The data is created on our server and then Wii connects to the server and downloads ready data. AccuWeather has it's own API so we can use it to parse the data ;)

I'm going to guess you were somehow able to reverse engineer the Weathernews API, if they ever had a public and/or private API.
We are using AccuWeather API to get all the weather ;)
