I bought the jumbo in my country (Belgium), at the Chanel boutique in 2011 and payed €3110 for it. So I'm very happy that I bought it back then, the prices now are insane

the LYXBAG would be super cute during the fall with a nude or tan or even tonal outfit! i’m thinking a tan wool coat with that bag!!
I use the LYXBAG as a work bag and have had no issues. It's a comfortable bag, has lots of room, and doesn't lose its shape. That being said, I also take care of all my bags and don't carry water bottles, pens, keys, or anything that could damage the interior.
So obsessed with the brown lambskin one. So pretty!
That brown medium flap is beautiful! I love bags that are classic but very different/rare

I have one lyxbag bag I got in 2019, it's the LV white catogram speedy. It's counter quality and it has a nice honey patina now, so the leather is real. I think whatever makes you happy go for it. I've seen LV with plastic leather and blood red glaze...

I still love my LV reverse monogram *yutulux* clutch! It's versatile, fits a variety of items, and is definitely a workhorse! I think seeing it everywhere (like the LV speedy) is proof that it's already a classic.

If I have to choose one I love to have Small. Medium is also perfect. Jumbo is so heavy and big for me, but still keep and use sometimes bc she is my first Chanel handbag ever. The classic flaps I bought in the boutiques never worked out for me due to quality issues. All of the Chanel bags I have now are preloved and I saved thousands! Love them all to pieces. Yes the color of the D U P B A G Y is beautiful and it is a great decision, maybe one day they will add feet and straps. It would be nice to have a bigger bag during the colder months when we have to store gloves, beanies, scarves, etc…

I agree with you! Medium is better for day and evening events. I think jumbo is gonn be too bulky for formal events. This video is very informative. I am a person who doesn’t take a lot of stuff when I go out. It’s basically my phone, my wallet and face mask. So I will definitely go for medium. 😍

Yeah you made the right choice, don’t sell the jumbo. In five years time, your needs may change. But I do dislike the heaviness of the double flap jumbo, so decided to go with a preloved single flap.
I bet it’s a joy going in and out of it. I want a jumbo. But thinking single flap as well. Don’t mind it being heavy. Just wondering how much a pain it’ll be to get in and out of it. Even though you don’t clip the 2nd flap. I live my boy. So again that’s why I’m leaning more towards single

About 6 months ago I heard multiple people ask for medium flap bags in the Chanel boutique (Amsterdam) and the SA's told them that jumbo was the smallest size in stock of all bags (19, classic etc.) so maybe that could explain the differences in pricing on the preloved market? I totally understand why you're keeping both!

Thank you for showing your beautiful bags. It’s very interesting to know how much you had paid for that preloved lambskin double flap back in 2018. That bag in such good condition is rare. If any available, they must be priced for at least $4000 at Japanese websites such as brand JFA.
Also, Diana bags in great condition as yours are hard to find and very expensive now.

They're just on my shelf with the chain to the back, haven't had much of an issue with this way. :)

While I prefer the look of the medium, I'm contemplating a Jumbo for myself because I'm the type that tends to carry fair bit of stuff e.g. it rains randomly where I'm from (the tropics, so we get massive thundery showers) so I never leave home without a small, foldable umbrella! But my main concern that it might be too big for my 5'3 frame.
I’m 4 11. And omg I love the jumbo lol. But yes looks big. Saw and tried it on for a couple mins. The Chanel in Oregon sucks and the Sa was just rushing me and made me feel awkward. Plus they never have anything in stock. What did you end up getting? Were you able to try one on?
@@lolipena8051 Hey! I'm sorry to hear you had a bad experience at your Chanel boutique. I did manage to try a Jumbo on! It felt quite good on me but I could only wear it as a double-strap shoulder bag (cross body and single strap don't work for me cause the straps are just so long). I actually liked how it looked on me, so I bought it! But I bought my Jumbo pre-loved from a reputable reseller in my country that has a physical store which I visited to try the bag on before buying. The Jumbo wasn't as big as I thought! I still do want to get a classic flap in the M/L but I think I'll go vintage as the vintage classic flap is starting to grow on me. For now, if I want a smaller bag out, I'll stick with my Boy (Old Medium), although the Boy is not a substitute for the classic flap because they're just very different bags, haha. Did you end up with a bag from your boutique?

I’m still debating if I should buy my bag new or preloved since they’re only a few hundred in difference. Now if I found a good one like your 2k one, I’d definitely go preloved. I’ve been checking recently though and there isn’t much of a price difference. Kinda torn.

Great video! I am looking for my first Chanel pre-loved. I want to carry the bag everyday. I am looking to get the M/L in lambskin in the older series 10. As much as the Jumbo holds so much more I am worried about the size of it carrying it day to day. Would love to know what your thoughts are. I am 55, first Chanel bag. I have the snap closure wallet I use everyday and a beautiful Cameilla red lambskin card holder I use everyday as well.
