I've never heard anyone be able to belt long as powerfully as she can while still controlling her voice enough to sound pleasant as an angel while doing it. Yet she can also sing soft & swap between the two with ease.. great agility. Her run/riff technique is unmatched! Her longevity is what every artist hopes for. Her head voice not as powerful as Whitney's but it is more pleasant and angelic.. such as her head voice in "Vole" and in the opening of "My Heart Will Go On". She is definitely the romantic one... Queen of power ballads. She makes you feel your deepest feelings. Then mariah has a nice raspiness to her tone & yes whistles with control & ease... other people have whistle register too but I haven't seen them be agile with it and sound as great doing it.. just makes u wonder HOW THE FUCK IS SHE DOING THAT lol. They're all great singers. However, the one that standout to me is Celine Dion! She has toured/performed more than Mariah and Whitney combined. In her Las Vegas residencies alone she has performed over 1000 shows and counting. To say she hasn’t worked as hard is very much an understatement. Not to take away from the others they were incredible! Whitney’s legacy lives on. And Celine is still performing impeccably well.

Her chest mix is AMAZING and she can sustain a note for days, the woman's breath control is ridiculous! OMG, Whitney's vibrato and her voice in general (in her prime) would murder you dead where you stand! Mariah's whistle, she's so comfortable and flexible up there it's ridiculous! Damn now I know why Celine is my fave of the 3. THis video just proves everything, Mariah is great and so is Whitney. But Celine will always remain my favorite, she's got power and stamina and can hit those notes like forever. Whitney is awesome but her too powerful voice sometimes get's in the way of the emotions of the song, that's because she grew up in that kind of influence but it's all preference really. Celine I've loved since Day 1. She's my own personal favorite. I saw her on the "Let's Talk About Love" tour. The day of the concert I started to get sick with a cold but my mother and I went anyway and dear God did she put on a show. She had me on my feet several times, screaming and cheering. By the end of the concert I was hoarse with a sore throat, runny nose and by the next morning had a full on fever. But I didn't regret going. So yeah, I love her. But I will not discount the fact that for the longest time I was also a Mariah Carey fan as well. I prefer Mariah pre-2000's because it's just my opinion that's when she made the best music. One word for Whitney Houston: effortless. She could sing the phone book and still make it sound good. All three of these ladies are or were extremely talented. It's all about preference I usually find myself listening to Mariah only because I love the different genres she hits but the three are unstoppable and should never be compared but rather praised together as setting the singing standard for future vocalist

She has toured/performed more than Mariah and Whitney combined. In her Las Vegas residencies alone she has performed over 1000 shows and counting. To say she hasn’t worked as hard is very much an understatement. Not to take away from the others they were incredible! Whitney’s legacy lives on. And Celine is still performing impeccably well.

When it comes down to Celine, Whitney or Mariah, it comes down to personal preference because for me it’s very difficult to say who is the greatest singer out of the 3 because they are equally matched. I prefer Celine and Whitney over Mariah but that’s my own view. That’s not to say that Mariah isn’t a great vocalist and who has one of the most powerful voices of all time. It’s just that I connect more with Celine and Whitney. We should be celebrating them as a 3 and not comparing them up each other. I don’t think we will ever find vocalists like them ever again, they are just one of kind.

Omg they are all so freaking amazing!!! Céline voice is so freaking powerful, beautiful and unique!!!!!! Her live performances is unmatched, no one sing so good live time after time! It's like her voice never gets really old. Mariahs high notes, tone and songwriting skills is awesome and Whitneys voice is so freaking strong. They are in another league!

Whitney was a powerhouse! I love the fact that she never sang the same sung twice. Every time she stepped to sing a piece she changed it up. Nothing has ever made me feel closer to heaven than her angelic voice.
I agree, why would you pit these three against each other?! Let's break it down, in my opinion Celine Dion is the most reliable and consistent voice of the three. Her chest mix is AMAZING and she can sustain a note for days, the woman's breath control is ridiculous! OMG, Whitney's vibrato and her voice in general (in her prime) would murder you dead where you stand! Mariah's whistle, she's so comfortable and flexible up there it's ridiculous! It's sad when I try to do it because ear plugs are a necessity! That said, these ladies aren't the vocal trinity for no reason, each and every one of them will give you something...they are the gifts that keep on giving! 🎁💝

Damn now I know why Celine is my fave of the 3. THis video just proves everything, Mariah is great and so is Whitney. But Celine will always remain my favorite, she's got power and stamina and can hit those notes like forever. Whitney is awesome but her too powerful voice sometimes get's in the way of the emotions of the song, that's because she grew up in that kind of influence but it's all preference really. Mariah is awesome but she never really gave me that UMPH!!! in her voice when it comes to power unlike Celine and Whitney. Celine has it all for me, the complete package and the longevity plus the character to admire and look up to. For me Celine>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Whitney=Maria but then again that's just me.

Celine I've loved since Day 1. She's my own personal favorite. I saw her on the "Let's Talk About Love" tour. The day of the concert I started to get sick with a cold but my mother and I went anyway and dear God did she put on a show. She had me on my feet several times, screaming and cheering. By the end of the concert I was hoarse with a sore throat, runny nose and by the next morning had a full on fever. But I didn't regret going. So yeah, I love her. But I will not discount the fact that for the longest time I was also a Mariah Carey fan as well. I prefer Mariah pre-2000's because it's just my opinion that's when she made the best music. One word for Whitney Houston: effortless. She could sing the phone book and still make it sound good. All three of these ladies are or were extremely talented. Probably shouldn't have put these three together, my friend. Just saying! :)

When you reach a certain benchmark of singing, who is better all boils down to mere preference. Although some may be technically in the slightest, it almost always boils down to preference. They’re all almost equal. Each of them contain a facet that the other doesn’t have or isn’t as strong as in.
