- Meet xQc, one of the Overwatch League’s best tank players. But he just couldn’t keep his professional career together.
He’s a product of the internet age, a kid who became famous online.
And then all at once, he was thrust into a professional world. A clean cut, franchised professional league where he had to be on his best behaviour. Lock away his wild side and put on a show for the fans.
But that just wasn’t meant to be. This is his story.

Actually, xQc didn't get suspended because of racial slurs. It was due to the fact there was a violation of ingame rules as he was able to contest the point from across the map with this GIANT SCHNOZER.

He made it absolutely clear that he didn't mean it in a racial manner and nor did malik take offense to it.
He also got in touch with him and they both agreed that it was ok and it wasn't a racial thing. Sadly he still had to get banned

I think xQc is a good guy, that is just so impulsive and extreme that he sometimes gets ahead of his boundaries. He's extremely talented at gaming, and he is extremely dedicated to streaming and gaming, it is his one passion. He is nothing if you take that away from him, but he is everything if he's doing it, if he's getting the juice.

I honestly don’t think that XQC meant it as a homophobic slur. I’m not saying he shouldn’t have gotten an indefinite ban that was quite deserved, but I feel like they could have looked more into the fact that XQC looked genuinely surprised when he realized what he had just said and I think he genuinely didn’t mean it as a homophobic slur. I really like how xQc focuses super hard during an entire team kill, not making a single sound basically holding his breath, and then afterwards screams and flips out. Shows that even though he's super hyper and crazy he still cares about the game and tries his best most of the time
I have been a fan of his streams since he was on denial esports, he is hilarious. I remember one time he did a livestream at the OW world cup and he decided to go swimming in the hotel pool (while on stream of course) so he brings his phone into the pool with him and naturally the phone gets wet and his video freezes and his chat was like, xqc honey, get the phone out of the pool. turn it off and put it in rice lmao.
