I use big pots in my poly because as a greenhouse with soil beds the moles got to everything. So we slabbed the floor and now pots it is, benefit is they can be moved as needed. Oh wow we have my husbands grandma’s rhubarb so it must be at least 100+ family heirloom 😂 because the hubby is old as dirt (not really). 7:05 it’s easier to work around a post than try to add one later. I would hope the rat problem is gone by the time you get chickens because that could attract more rats 😢😢. I’ll stop rambling now which I tend to do as it’s like talking with friends 😂. Have a super week, Ali ☔️🇨🇦
I think slabs are 100% the way forward. Or a solid concrete floor, but that would be very expensive! That's amazing that you have an heirloom rhubarb as well!! ❤️ Sadly we will always have a problem with rats. We are in the country and surrounded by equestrian yards (including our own) which seem to attract rats like a moth to a flame. It has always been a low level problem but has really escalated this year and we have seen a lot of damage. We will get it back under control. And I think next summer I'm going to get some yard cats again. We need some predators on site. Plus it would be nice to have cats again ❤️
What a breath of fresh air! Reality gardening! It will be great, and your plans will keep changing...
Ain't got time for nothing but reality in my life 😆
This is going to look mega next year. Garden planning is so much fun.
Fingers crossed 🤞 if it ever stops raining we might be able to get started on a few projects 😂

Not me thinking, "why doesnt she just turn it all into an outdoor school?" - now THAT would be over ambitious!! 😂
