  • Join us on our Cairo adventure as we dive into the heart of Egypt's bustling capital! Our journey begins at Abou Tarek, where we savor the flavors of 'Koshari,' one of Cairo’s favourite foods - a quintessential everyday meal!
We also visit the Cairo Museum, home to countless ancient artefacts and treasures. We discuss the challenges of filming in the city and after giving a little money to a disabled man, we reflect on the ethics of capturing such acts of kindness on camera.

Yeah it’s a really interesting city! In next week’s episode I do a more in-depth exploration where we look at how different areas of the city define its character. Of course there’s a full pyramids episode coming too! Thanks for watching :)

Great video guys! :) I think the homeless thing was fine to film - you have good intentions and you're sharing your experience! Don't stress. Looking forward to seeing the visit to the pyramids!

Good to see you both again. Love all your videos. I like seeing the artifacts and hearing the details of the items but also appreciate seeing the streets and people living there. I didn't see anything wrong with you filming giving money to the man on the road. You are filming you and Amy’s experience with being on this trip and I appreciate seeing as much as possible since I know I would never travel there myself. It’s kind of like the next best thing for me. I look forward to watching your next video.

Thanks! Great to hear this - we try to give people a real feel for a country, so we're purposefully mixing history and culture with the everyday. I'm glad we can give you a taste for a place you're not be able to visit yourself! We're currently exploring whether we can kayak down the Tonle Sap in Cambodia and hike into the Borneo Jungle, so to be honest you're probably better off behind the screen where it's dry and safe 🤣

I love the honesty and real world view, other vloggers stay in fancy hotel and only show the cool side and a couple temple shots. There’s better info here this is more down to earth ❤.
