I can’t take a lot of red/pink in a bronzer. I need golden. It can’t be orange or very yellow, but golden. One of my favorites is the second shade in the Hermes 02 Atlas. If I could only have one bronzer, it would be that one. I’ve discovered I prefer most makeup to apply lightly, pigment wise, but be buildable than to start out with a very high pigment. I never even thought of using Dim Light as a bronzer! Great idea!
Dim Light whilst looking neutral in the oan, pulls orange on my skin. Like previous comments I do wish HG would create more inclusive shades for cooler/neutral undertones. My favourite is TF Terra.
I enjoy my Wayne Goss bronzer/contour. His darkest shade is almost too light for me, but I like that it's very subtle and not red. There is a Chinese brand called Girl Cult, and they have a face palette that is very much made for fair, muted skin. It looks beautiful. I have brown skin, but I dislike using very red-toned orange bronzer. Oh, I also use a Guerlain one in the darkest shade they've ever made whch is discontinued ; it's very subtle but has some shimmer. I'm going to send this video to my best friend; she has fair skin with olive undertones.
Thank you so much dear 😘 Yes, Asian brands offer more options for muted girls. And, as you said, it’s not a matter of being fair, medium or dark. I hope western brands will start considering this. ❤️
I love dim light in the winter as well. I wish hourglass would come out with different shades. Most of the blushes and bronzers from them do not work for me. Sadly, because as you said the formula is top notch. I think we are of similar skin tone. I might be be a tic darker and green but muted. It’s hard to tell but I love the undertones you mentioned. What is soft skin tone? Grayish bronzers are so beautiful. Almost to 1000 subscribers!
I picked the term from color analysis. Soft means neutral (not too cool, not too warm) and not bright, but instead with a degree of desaturation. Moreover low contrast in general, in terms of the overall colors of the face (skin + eyes + hair)
@@bobmindset I agreeee! I love Dim Light as an overall finishing powder that gives a je ne sais quoi...but their bronzers and blushes have always been misses for me in terms of tones.
Thank you very much. Very complete video . Yes I like bronzers with a pinksh tone. I really love the Horglass light bronzer Dim Light . I didn’ t know, and it is talc free, that is very important. So I am happy that the formula You prefer and a color I like is talc free. I have to look for the summer one bronzer with a little more color.Very helpful your Video.😘❤️
@@bobmindsetIn the new Dior Sumer collection for Sumer I have seen a photography with a bronzer , I have to see it better because perhaps is a little ocher but at least is gentle.
I have predominantly a yellow pigment in my skin, than a blue one, and the least amount of a red pigment. I’m also muted. So bronzers that leans red doesn’t work for me, they look like a blush (80s style) :)
@@bobmindset Yes, the Soleil Clair. For years I'd wanted the TF Terra, but I recently swatched it in store for the first time and it seemed soooo pale to me and it did not excite me as I wanted a bronzer to excite me. LOL. I have a TF bronzer from a eye and face pallette of his and it's dark and beautiful. The opposite, but I enjoy it too.
I really love my old Make up forever bronzer. This one is cool toned with a greyish touch and the Gucci no 1. Good to know about Surrat and I'm really drawn to Flower knows
I use dim light as a bronzer too. It’s very nice, but I do use more orangey ones as well. I can wear orange and red. I have to stay away from olive tones and yellows.
Oh then you’re lucky!!! There are so many more options for you! If I could have pulled off orange bronzers I would have picked Hermes and YSL. Those are other great textures on the market! ❤️
@@bobmindset I have the Hermes and agree it’s very nice. I have no interest in YSL. It’s a brand I have tried and never really gotten use of what I bought.
Thanks for the swatches, it was very useful for me. I've got the Gucci bronzer in 01. Do you know the RBR eyeshadow Chesnut-Napped Apalis? I'm gonna run out of it and I can't seem to find a really good dupe.

Ty! Gucci 1 is also great, as are a lot of the K beauty brands such as Han❤

Wow, it’s incredible how different the same product looks on different people! Glad that TF Terra works for you! 😘

Are the Surrat Blushes + Bronzers magnetic?? thanks for your video, so helpful!
Hi dear, no they are not magnetic. You need a metal sticker to use it in a magnetic palette 😘

Hourglass makes a lot of warm, yellow/orange powders, while the cool toned ones are more rare

I love my Surratt bronzer and Grisaille!
A great texture! Do you have the same shade I own, or the other one?

Thank you for this wonderful list. I have yet to find anything to top the Gucci 01, in terms of tone. It also lasts for AGES!!

Yes MUFE is definitely underrated now. I remember when the brand was on trend on TH-cam. 😘
