I love bronzers so much, they really add dimension and life to the face, especially when you're fair like us! It's one of my favourite steps in my makeup routine. I love the Gucci 01 and the YSL 01 but I also love the Hourglass bronzers in my Jellyfish palette (Lunar bronze) and the Golden Rose edit (Golden bronze light). I've been using the YSL to set my cream bronzer (Nars - so good) and it's perfection.
@@Georgia-ne4dq I don't have any singles of the hourglass bronzer formula. All mine are in palettes, and they're just not the perfect shade. Usually, they're too dark. 😩 I've skipped the holiday palettes for the past several years and decided that if I want a powder, I'd just get the full size. I love the YSL so much. It's an incredible bronzer and it's not too much. I love how much dimension bronzer brings to the face. I'm so glad there are great options for us fair skinned people. Thanks for watching today.

I love the Jones Road bronzer. Have you tried the Anastasia Beverly Hills bronzer in Rosewood? It is also a rose cool bronzer. Saie also has a cream/liquid bronzer in Salt that I love as well. For reference I am 66, very fair with black hair, dry skin.

THE MIRROR OF TRUTH!!!! 😂 I finally got around to trying the Surratt bronzer in Soleil Deux, it’s really nice! It smoothed my pores so much that the rest of my face looked weird in contrast! 🤪 Two things there: 1, if Surratt had a pressed powder that smoothing, I’d buy it in a heartbeat, and 2, it’s really time to switch from my Chantecaille Future Skin. Looks great in the spring, but it’s a huge no right now. I don’t wear makeup often, clearly! I got a mini Tirtir on Prime Day, so I’ll play around with that one next.

Thank you! I requested this and I appreciate you doing it! My favorite is Westman Atelier cream stick in Biscuit. It's the only bronzer (it's actually called a "contour," though) I have re-purchased. However, I only wear it in cooler months because its cream and I am so oily and sweaty in summer. I have a lot of those bronzers but I have the Glossier in Swept because its a touch cooler than sail. I think I really want the new Lancome one now. The color and easiness of it appeals to me. I do mostly wear the Loreal one you showed and the Gucci one, and I like them, but I am really looking for one that I can't overdo. I'm just always in a hurry!

@@thelipstickgal It doesn't pull orange or rose. It is buildable and long lasting. It is an easy grab. A consistent grab. I am forcing myself to use others. I do like the SB palette. I can mix and match. It is so pigmented in every shade I can do to much quickly.
I never used to wear bronzer till about 7 years ago & now I can't stop! I only wear a light layer as I don't like an obvious bronzed look. My favourite is Tom Ford in Terra. There's others that I like & several that you mentioned but I wear TF Terra the most.

The CT beautiful skin cream to powder bronzer is my go for not only the shade but because it is cream to powder I don’t have to buy 2 different products ( a cream and a powder formula ) to set my bronzer well
I have a lot of these bronzers. The beachwalk betty makes it look like I messed up my blusher because it is so pink based. My favourite without question is the Lancome bronzer. I have shade 1 and shade 2 (more for evening looks)
Those new Lancome Bronzers are AMAZING! I love the formula so much. I don't have the same problems with Beachwalk Betty. It's easy for me to pair with any blush. I'm sorry it doesn't work for you. Have you tried using it alone? Without blush? You might like it that way, and get some use out of it.

I often find myself doing blush or bronzer, both can feel like too much. Right now my skin is a bit darker than fair/light after some vacation time in the sun, so feel less of the need for bronzer. But when I do I alternate the ilia powder, or Danessa Myricks or Physicians Formula. Also the merit or Westman atelier stick bronzers work well.

After years and years of eyeing it, I finally got the Gucci bronzer in fair last year. Worth every ridiculous penny. 😆 How does the tone of it compare to the matte L'oreal one? They looked a little similar in the swatches.
The L'Oreal one reminds me of Charlotte Tilbury powder bronzers. It definitely has an high end feel, but the Gucci has more of that rosy tone to it. They're both fairly light, but there's more pink in the Gucci. If you pick up the L'Oreal, I don't think you'd be disappointed. Thanks for watching today.

If you had to choose between Lancôme and YSL would you have a preference? Is there any perceptible difference? Right now basically I just use an old Milani compact or what is in my hourglass palette.

Martina Lily also just mentioned that the Lancôme was her absolute favorite bronzer above other high end options. It might be what I've been looking for. Even the lightest Hourglass ones can be too much except in mid-summer, or too shimmery.
The new Lancome one felt so buttery soft and the package was so beautiful! 1 was super light I think 2 would’ve been best for us I didn’t put it on my face tho just swatched it … thanks for these!!!! All my selections LOL!!! 🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍
