I was a person who really didnt understand why the 4th season was late. I paid it forward for a year. If Dallas Jenkins said this upfront, I would have pitched in and I will pitched in going forward. It is critical that this show is produced. I watched the first episode of season 4 this morning. Spoilers ahead. This show made me understand how and why Judas betrayed Jesus. He hung onto his past even seeing Jesus walk on water. When Jesus heard that John the Baptist was murdered, he wept. But this show provided a perspective that he did cry for John's death, but he cried because he knew his time to do the same. Reading the bible is important. But this show is provides a new perspective to the Gospels. Please please support the chosen...

Ah, 2019... The Beforetime... I remember that ancient period of history of Chosen history. I bought 5 digital copies of episodes 1-4 to give away and it was a struggle-and-a-half to get people to watch them.
I watched all of Season 4 at the movie theater, it was awesome. Dallas handled this with Angel Studios very graciously and still grateful of the start they provided.
60% wasn't profit for them. He said in the video that it included marketing and livestream infrastructure. That means angel was getting a maximum of 15%-20%.

People who still prefer physical media. For example, steaming services will stop showing certain episodes of shows that are controversial (Community has an episode that was cancelled, same with The Simpsons). Physical media also has bonus behind the scenes content and isn't subject to which streaming service is currently carrying something. There are lots of movies I'd like to watch that I can't currently find on streaming services. And for music, having a physical CD means you get to listen to the whole album not just the hits. A lot of songs that disappear from people paying attention to them because the radios and streaming mixes just focus on the hits that they have decided for us. I'm a millennial who downsized my physical media and regrets it. My teens also hate that I never kept my teenage wardrobe for them but that's another story. 😆

I'm the type of person who needs it sped up. I think it is genius that he does it with clips. My brain can distinguish the diff between what the actual show is vs the clip. It got annoying waiting for episodes and seasons with the Chosen. Kinda forgot about it. Drama, issues and Jenkin’s live steams lol… made it very unappealing.
Just wondering if having to wait for episodes and seasons of other shows, because of the whole writers/actors strikes, caused you to lose interest in them as well. The show can also be watched without having to endure the livestream and without any thought to any drama or issues.
