Ashutosh Bhosale it'd definitely be able to do the tasks required. It may get a bit laggy at times though if you're working with complex photoshop documents though but still a solid machine. Mine is the highest spec model so I expect mine to last at least 2-3 more years easily. In your case, 2 years would be absolutely fine in my opinion. Late 2013, 2014 and 2015 models are all pretty much the same in terms of processor performance as they're all running Haswell chips so I would recommend the cheapest one you find.
I bought one of these late 2013 Macs maxed out in March 2014. Haven’t had a single problem with it since keyboard, screen, performance all going strong. I use it a lot and I’m very happy with it. I don’t plan on upgrading for a while ; it’s still doing all I need it to do and I do push it pretty hard sometimes... thanks for the video, Great review!
The 2015 has much faster SSD than the 2014 (and presumably the 2013) and the 2015 supports dual 4K displays. I have the 2014 and 2015 and they are both nice. The 2013s are well below $1,000 today.

Okay I feel good now. I just won an eBay auction for a very clean, late 2013 15" Retina MacBook Pro with the standard i7, 16GB ram, 512GB SSD, and the GT 750M graphics card for $790. My early 2011 15" died on me for the second time due to the plagued graphics issue. The first time was covered under Apple's recall. I really liked it other than that critical issue and it lasted 7 years for me. I'm hoping the 2013 will be just as good if not better :)
Just ordered a refurbished Apple Certified late 2013 model for about $700. Just be carefully that you read carefully because the eBay listing will sell it for the same price at half the RAM and no dedicated graphics.

Thanks for the video. It's very helpful. But, just want to ask one question. I currently use 2015 13 inch MBP. But, I'm interested in to purchase late 2013 15 inch MBP for a couple of reasons such as screen size and more power. Do you think that it is worth to sell my current laptop which is 2015 year 13 inch MBP and get a late 2013 15 inch MBP? or, do you think that I just stick with my current device? Thank you.
Oh, for the better comparison, I should say that both models (early 2015 13" and late 2013 15") are very similar specs. The MBP early 2015 13" is i5 (2.9) 16 gb Ram and 512 ssd, and the MBP late 2013 15" is i7 (2.2) 16gb Ram and 512 ssd. Which one is better? Do you think it is worth to get 2013 one even though it is the older one?

Hi thewre, I own a late 2013 macbook pro 15" retina display and I have purchased it recently but I have one problem. There is a hardware I used to use with my older 2011 macbook pro and the hardware only has firewire ports and the late 2013 macbook pro doesn't have firewire ports. It just has usb amd thunderbolt ports. How can I get my firewire hardware to work with my late 2013 macbook pro?
what do u think if i still use 15 inch early 2013 with dual graphic? is it still good enough for daily driver such as basic editing video and photoshop?
Thank you for this vid. Would you still recommend this computer today as best value? Also, I will be using this comp for music producing, photo editing, and video editing. What would be the min specs I should choose? I’d like to keep costs down as much as possible. I don’t need the top of the line if a lesser version would work great. And what would be the max you would pay?
Just bought an early 2013 15” mbp retina for 5k pesos (~250 dollars). Seller claimed it was garbage because of the delamination issue which I’m ready to fix with some listerine 😜
But wouldn’t the AMD graphics card help with FCPX (OpenCL) vs Nvidia (Cuda). FCPX take advantage of opencl power, while Adobe programs (premiere + after effects) takes advantage of cuda. I use FCPX, Motion and Compressor. Would the Nvidia cards be fine for me? I’m considering the 2015 for the AMD card
