Came here first off all to say thank you Classy, you’re a true gem. I purchased an A80K a few months back and have been trying to perfect the settings without be able to afford a professional calibration. I was running DV Bright Gradation preferred but I started using DV Dark recently and started to like it better, but the colors and white point seemed offc and had a noticeable yellow tint. Someone recommended your settings of Warm with B -15 G -3 and that looks better to my eyes. But now that I see you recommend DV Bright GP I’m having second thoughts.

Thanks! Just got a 77" A80, and these seem pretty reasonable. Biggest thing is trying to decide on the motion processing. I've never been a fan of it on my LG, but supposedly Sony is the best for this sort of thing. I think smoothness on 1 may actually be the way to go now.

Thanks for the video, super helpful! Is there any way to reduce the dimming with this TV while watching sports or gaming due to static elements on screen? I really like it but I'm thinking about returning it and getting a C2 if there is no way to stop it, somehow the image doesn't only dim but the colors look washed out when it does it. I'm a bit worried that I won't like the picture quality on the C2 do you think there is a visible difference between the two in terms of that? Thanks again!

The only way I can tolerate playing in a low-light room setting is if I turn the brightness and contrast way down and the ambient sensor back on.

Is it worth to get a XR-77A84K ?
I own a XR-77A80J with a bad pixel, Sony won´t fix this because of Pixel policy. I have 5 a year´s Warranty incl. 100% pixel warranty.
the store offert me to take the a80j back and get the newer a84k.
Is it worth it? the dead pixel on the a80j is not visible, only if you know were it is and with a static color.
