I've not listened to each every remix of this fantastic and underrated Bananarama song. But one thing that Nick's mix has over the ones I have heard is that he returns to the first verse, whilst the others just repeat the refrain and variations on the instrumentals. Let's hear even more of these gals' work, Nick - it's happy food for a depressed and hungry world!

When I read below, in carlybabeshere2's comment, a reference to a "nana" track, I thought perhaps he was using the French colloquial term for a young woman. But now I realise it's just short of Bananarama. I do need to get out more!
Thanks Nick, have always loved this song. There were never many mixes of this song available compared to their other songs from the PWL years. I am aware of the Extended European Mix and the Original 12" Mix.
Hi Joel, I would LOVE to make an extended edit of Venus! The only thing stopping me is that I can't locate copies of the vocal version and instrumental which are of compatible sound quality...

Yes, I think they were the only ones. I've based mine on on Pete Hammond's album mix and instrumental. I like using the originals!
