I promise you I've seen one in North Arkansas. I live in Western Oklahoma and I have seen to hear only one siding a piece. It was no question what I saw it it may have been crossed up but they were very large and had the disposition of the red wolf I have no doubt

We don't need wolves when we have coyotes

Great effort despise the outcome. I believe we should reintroduce Jaguars to control the elk and wild boars.

I have a strong feeling that once there is a thorough overview of the food web and ecosystem of the Smokies, how domesticated livestock, deer, and elk fit in; then it would be a good time to evaluate the Apex predator competition of North America that tends to be bears, mountain lions or panthers in this context, and of course the red wolves.
I have a feeling that if there are large enough herds of deer and elk in the Smokies, along with an understanding of the ecosystems surrounding the park and populated areas; that would provide a clearer ecological context for the recovery of the red wolf. Wildlife Corredors are also essential the more I thought about this. I hope to be a part of the movement to spearhead wolf recovery; along with we humans re-excepting them.
There ought to be a reparations program for the government funded extermination of the wolves, besides the endangered species act the more I learn about it.
Let’s not forget that feral pigs could become a food source for the wolves; as I hear has been proven in coastal North Carolina, where the wolves still live.
After watching the Wild Kratts; activate red wolf powers!
    Howl Howl Howl!

I’m 99.9% sure I’ve seen one in Citico. I know what coyotes look like cause I even had one that came by my house every few days trying to eat my dogs food. Which I let him most of the time. When I was Citico in 2017 I saw what I would bet my saving on wasn’t a coyote it was a red wolf. Then one night I was sitting by the campfire cooking up some sausages and it came back…. It was a coyote. But I would have bet it was a red wolf if it didn’t come that close

So if it will continually fail, why keep and breed them at all....

There was a coyote hunter in Arkansas Atlas showing all the coyote killed in there was a red wolf in the bunch he posted this on the internet can a game warden seen it and wouldn't charge the man it was an accident cuz red wolves and coyotes look a lot alike but the point is they may have traveled a little further than they think or there was small family groups that they didn't know about

Let nature be nature if they can’t survive on there own then they can die
