That first instant replay catch honestly depending on the view you went with could have correctly been called incomplete or complete. What I love is that the replay is fully transparent and you hear the real explanation as to why the call is being reversed by Dean Blandino. Not like the cryptic explanations given by NFL officiating many times.
Great week one for the XFL i’m so glad this league is back. I think the USFL and XFL can exist it gives so many players the opportunity to prove themselves I hope both leagues are around for many many years
Honestly the dirty plays in every game made 70% of these players look like there's good reason they don't deserve to be in the NFL. I really can't imagine being a GM and seeing anything of value in the way these games were played.

It's gonna be the lack of penalties and injuries from them. Also not pulling players for injuries. The scrutiny is even worse than the NFL and it's gon a blow up quick. Player straight up got thrown into the goal post, hit the back of his spine, held his head, struggled to get up, and went back for the next play. All with the ref watching and replays galore. The uncalled helmet targeting all weekend is gonna make it even worse.
That Renegades defense really came to life in the second half! Not sure how much it was on Perez, but both teams definitely have some work to do on offense. Really hoping these games just get better as their season goes on.
they talked about it earlier how the teams have only had around 15 practices to get ready for the season, so we're definitely going to need to be patient

For the haters hating on the crowd let me say this: 1.This is a pretty big stadium this is a decent crowd for XFL matters probably about 10,000-15,000 2.San Antonio & DC are pretty much sold out 3.St.Louis will 100% be sold out I think the XFL could've done a better job on the presentation in finding a smaller stadium but otherwise, it just looks like that cause of how the big the stadium is!

Figured it was the worst luck possible. The Rock deserves appreciation for taking a risk and buying the league and trying again. But also players who didn't get opportunities or fought injuries in college or those who simply haven't developed quite enough before hitting thr NFL getting second chances! So many have the talent and ability but lack the knowledge and experience or understanding of the mental aspect of football. That's usually how it is cause with defense you play in rhythm a lot quicker cause you don't have to worry about routes, timing, blocking assignments, etc. Offenses always take longer to play together well than defenses.

Well, the USFL has already done that twice now. First iteration lasted 3 years. Second iteration is going into its second year.

That’s actually very easy. They can do it with an “cheap” camera and a gimbal. An iPhone and gimbal can essentially get the same results.
The punt return changes are brilliant. Still a very exciting play with many opportunities but does take out the high speed collisions.
